Note - It has been over a month since I last applied, and I'm applying again due to the fact that I feel like I've improved in the areas that I got denied for. Bird said I could apply again, so that's what I'm doing. I changed a few of my answers slightly, and put a * at the end of the ones I've changed.

What is your in-game name? - wintergreen3
Have you changed your name in the past? If you have, please list them. - Nope, I've never changed my username, and I probably won't for a long while, if ever. *
Does anyone else have access to your Minecraft account? - No.

How old are you? - 17, I was born in January of 1998.
What time zone are you in? - CST time zone.
Are you multilingual? Can you speak multiple languages? - Not yet - I've been learning French for the past three weeks and I'm making good progress, but I'm far from being able to actually speak it. *

What is your experience and knowledge of Minecraft? -
I first heard of Minecraft from a friend of mine a little over four years ago. He showed me several videos on Youtube of roller-coasters and amazing houses, and I for some reason didn't want to play it right away. However, three days later I found myself thinking about it, and I decided to try it out. I ended up playing a cracked version of the game for about six months, until I finally got the game on November 17th, 2011.



Several months after that, I found an amazing survival server with a small community that was very helpful and nice. I spent a lot of time on there, and I made a lot of friends. Eventually I saw that the PVP portion of Minecraft looked really fun, and that winter I tried to find a good server to play on. I found CTF, and have stuck with it for the most part. Since I joined CTF, I've made some absolutely astounding friends, and even though I was really bad when I joined, I still had tons of fun with every minute of it. I've been on three CTF teams and have over 50 days of play on my stats. I really enjoy the game as a whole, and I love the community.
What is your experience with moderating servers, if any? -
I'm sad to say that I don't - on the bright side, I'm close to several of the CTF mods from MCPVP, and I talk to them frequently.

What will you provide to the community if you are provided moderator status? - Seeing as I was a member of MCPVP for two and a half years and I saw how the moderators on there dealt with hackers, I feel like I could get hackers banned really quickly. I've gotten good at recognizing hacks at this point. I also think I could help referee CTF team matches, and help new players figure out how to play the game.

Have you ever used a hacked client before? -
I've used an X-ray texture pack a couple of times on a singleplayer world to see how it works, but otherwise, no.

Have you ever been banned on a Minecraft server? If so, why? - No, I'm glad to say that I haven't. I've always tried to follow server rules.

What do you consider your greatest strength? - My experience with Capture the Flag is probably my greatest strength. I've played for a really, really long time now and I definitely feel like I can offer help that maybe some others can't. I know a lot about CTF, and I like helping people figure out what they need to do to play the game.
What do you consider your greatest weakness? -
I'm a bit sensitive sometimes to certain things. In the past while, I've been harassed quite a bit by certain players ingame for no apparent reason. Because this happens so often, I've been trying to desensitize myself gradually. By the time MCPVP shut down, I had it pretty much under control, but since the move I've had a bit of trouble with my sensitivity again. I'm more or less able to stay neutral about it now, though.

How active do you consider yourself on Brawl? - I consider myself very active. I play for 3+ hours on Brawl most days, and I try to socialize with the community and stay updated on what new is happening for the network as a whole.
Which Brawl servers are you most active on? - Capture the Flag by far. Since CTF has been out of Beta (2 weeks) I've played over three days worth of time on it. Sometimes I'll play KitBrawl if I feel like I need to brush up on my PVP a little. *

How many hours can you provide a day and during what time frame? - I usually am on my computer for five to seven hours a day, and I'm on from 4-5pm to 11pm. Sometimes I'm on at noon, but not for a long period of time.

What would you do if someone breaks a rule in-game? -
I would decide that depending on what they did:

- Bypassing the chat filter/ saying rude things about another player: I'd warn them and then if they don't stop, mute them. If I'm not a mod, then I'd report it using /report and Slack, and take screenshots incase no one can help me at that moment.

- Hacks: Find them (either with /tp or manually if I'm not a mod) and record them. Get them banned afterwards.

- Excessively glitching: As a mod, warn the player(s), and if they don't stop after that, I'd kick them. As a player, I'd screenshot them and report them in Slack and/or using /report.
What would you do if someone breaks a rule on the forums? -
Depends on the situation, again. If a player puts a thread in the wrong section: I'd move the thread to the correct section and make a reply to the thread saying that I moved it. if someone makes a flame/spam thread/reply, I'd possibly delete the comment, or if it's a thread, leave it and watch it. If it turns into a flame war, I'd lock the topic.

What would you do if someone breaks a rule on TS3? - I'd drag them into the jail channel and tell them what they were doing wrong. If they continue afterwards, then warn them that they'd get kicked if they keep it up, and if they still don't stop, kick them with a message saying that whatever they were doing wasn't allowed. After that if they come back and continue, kick for an hour and work my way up to a tempban if they continue. *

Situation (as a staff member): You log on Brawl, and you’re told that there is a huge, game-breaking economy glitch. No Admins are online to solve the situation. What steps would you take to handle the issue? - I would alert the server of the glitch and tell everyone that if they abused the glitch, they would get kicked. Then message the Admins/Developers about it, hopefully so they would come on and help soon enough. I would check around for people abusing the glitch, and try to calm people down if they're starting to get ragey/angry.

What is the date of the last application you submitted? - August 5th, 2015. *

Do you have a working microphone? - Yes. I have a Turtle Beach PX22 headset with a microphone that works well.

Do you generally know how all the staff member commands work? - Yes. I know of most of them. If I didn't know what one of them did, I'd ask one of my fellow moderators before using it.

Anything else we should know about you? -
I'm homeschooled and I have been for the past five or so years. I have a couple of other hobbies other than CTF and Minecraft. I play soccer whenever I can find a good trainer to help me with my skills, and I also go horseback riding every week with my best friend. I have a pet parakeet named Buddy, and I love him very much. I also play a lot of Pokemon and I love to read books like Harry Potter or The 39 Clues.
