Idea MinecraftParty Rank/Donor System

    I believe McParty should have a rank system that you buy with your stars. This system is very simple; all you do I buy ranks with your stars. (Ranks are never ending) You can make a list of ranks you think would be appropriate.
    1 star: Newbie
    25 stars: [Rank]
    50 stars: [Rank]
    75 stars: [Rank]
    100 stars: [Rank]
    250 stars: [Rank]
    500 stars: [Rank]
    750 stars: [Rank]
    1000 stars: [Rank]
    5000 stars: [Rank]
    10000 stars: [Rank]

    Donor System:
    Vip:
    -Double Stars
    -Green Name
    Mvp:
    -Triple Stars
    -Blue name

    I'm pretty sure Pro, VIP, and MVP have already been added, as it shows those ranks in /who, but other than that, good idea!

    Yeah, although the rank system would work, to me, it just seems slightly unnecessary, and considering how busy chat is regularly, I would rather not mix colours and ranks into that as well. There is only so much my eyes can handle. Perhaps stars can be used in other ways? I am not sure if they already have plans for what they're going to use for stars, but one suggestion could be special abilities / Visual accessories e.g 100 stars is the cost of Iron Horse armour in Horse races.
    The MinecraftParty donation page has not yet been finalised, as you can tell by going to the home page < Donate < MinecraftParty. It currently links you back to the home page. They will be added in the near future.

    Yeah, I know that, I was just saying it already shows Pro, VIP, and MVP, in the /who command.

    The no-life rank would have to be changed due to the fact that it's like we're insulting our common members if they get that rank. Also we aren't going to be able to give double or triple stars, it would be to over powered. Another idea we could have that would include it though is maybe we could have double stars weekends like call of duty?

    Yeah, I have seen similar suggestions to this previously, I like the idea. Double Star weekends to celebrate special occasions e.g Large server updates, Christmas, Server anniversaries etc.

    The ranks were just an example. I'm sorry I offended anyone.
    The ranks are like achievements that player can get. Perhaps you do not buy the ranks with stars, but they are automatically applied when the player reaches the required star amount.

    I was also was not aware of any donation system on McParty. :/

    I like this idea, I don't think that each rank should have a different color, but besides that it is a great idea. :smile:
