    So, I know that there isnt much of a filter for speech on the servers. And honestly, I wonder where the line of free speech is drawn. Its perfectly fine for an exchange of ideas and emotions among regular players, but then the same expression is an offence when shown to a staff member or any sort. So, my question is how far does our supposed freedom of speech extend?

    Players are always expected to show respect to staff. As well as that, we also expect you to respect other players. Obviously, we are not all 4 years old on MPS, if someone is having a bit of banter, or if there is a slightly heated discussion occurring, We're not just going to run in swinging the ban hammer left right and centre. If things get serious, e.g DDOS threats, Very offensive/abusive language, then staff will be expected to intervene.

    We, on MPS, will never try to stop you having an opinion, but at the end of the day, we expect you to respect member of staff's opinions. If you don't like it, and feel a certain member of staff is making constant wrong decisions. Report them. We do not want a community in which our players feel intimidated by staff. We will encourage you to share your opinions on most matters, hence these 'Discussion' sub-forums, but we just ask you try to keep within our set Rules & Regulations, and show respect to staff and other players.

    I totally agree with the filter, but sometimes it says "no advertisement" when I write something like: Mc-War is a great server, isn't it (just a random example)

    Peas, in alot of ways the system here is much like the government. Certain established rights that cannot be taken away. Yet, in certain circumstances theyre null and void. In the event of a clear and present danger. Or threatenig some sort of terror. I suppose. But still, not even just cursing. It gets out of hand even on minecraftparty. Its become something of a sad prepubescent dating site.

    Not many things make me laugh, but I could not help but cry laughing at that part. I agree with what you say.

    I don't think you have any idea how true this really is. And yes, it is sad. Instead of using Omegle they decide to go here to fill their young desires for relation.

    These kids want relations? Get your parents to teach you manners or a teddy bear to sleep with. Because pressing 123 shouldnt be a legally binding marriage.

    The thing wound. You have that right, just not really the tact to express it to its full, clever and witty potential. Instead resulting to vulgar and various underhanded means of expressions.

    We must keep in mind that the mods were chosen by the community, it's like when you elect someone it's because you trust him. For the mods it's the same but everyone on this forum has the freedom of speech unless it refers to: sexism, racism, sex, drugs, alcohol, spam, insults, copyrighted material used to another purpos, posting meme photos or disrespecting other members

    Yet if a mod were to approach a situation much as the plebian then he would be stripped of his title.
