Brawl Junior Moderator Application: Note: I had poured my heart into my last application. I have made a few edits to my application to make it sound better or to give more detail. This information has a ~ at the beginning and the end.

What is your in-game name? - Turmac

Have you changed your name in the past? If you have, please list them. - Nope, and I never plan to.

Does anyone else have access to your Minecraft account? - No, and I never will. ~I have given my BrawlHGPvP account to my brother, though~


How old are you? - 16

What time zone are you in? - MTN Time. (GMT -6)

Are you multilingual? Can you speak multiple languages? - Yes, I can speak Spanish semi-fluently with a bit of Swedish and French.


What is your experience and knowledge of Minecraft? –

I was first introduced to minecraft by my cousin who started making fun of the game. I got it to see how it was. It was nothing like he said it was. I enjoyed it so much, I started playing it pretty much every day.


I've played Minecraft since 2012. I started playing on single player and began on my adventure of learning. I began watching videos on minecraft and I found a few on redstone. Redstone was amazing when I saw it. I began right away building contraptions and other sets as well. I tried to build maps with some success, but none really notable.

Later on, I found out about multiplayer. I immediately looked up servers and found a server called LegendaryCraft. LegendaryCraft was a build server and I found many amazing people who taught me the ropes of minecraft. After that, I got bored of building and mining, so I moved on to the PvP server of LegendaryCraft. From there, I met amazing people, some of which play Brawl today! I learned to pvp, and I also applied for Moderator and got T-Mod. The server later closed and lost most of its members.

At about 2013/14, I got into the Hunger games craze. I was searching left and right for an amazing server to play for hg. Alas, I came to an amazing server named McPvP! McPvP helped me learn the arts of Soup PvP. I loved this so much! I helped along with other great members who are very kind to build up the community. I advertised on every server I wouldn't want to play on (So I wouldn't be banned on the servers I wanted) so the server would grow very large! They achieved 2.5 mill players before it sadly closed.

Around the McPvP age, I joined Twitch. I found that McPvP streamed on it! I mainly watched their streams to do the gamemodes, such as KOTH, Road of Death, Donut Dash, etc. After a while of gaining an Admins liking, I got moderator to help build on the gamemodes. I got to help and spectate KOTH'S, Death Runs, and pretty much every gamemode imaginable.

After McPvP closed, I was in a time of sad denial. I thought the HG would be forgotten forever. I quit minecraft for about a month to test out other games, but none of them compared to minecraft. I came back to find that Brawl has taken over some of the McPvP servers. As I read on, I literally shouted with joy. HG was one of them! I joined Brawl and found the community great! The servers still a little buggy from the transfer, but still great! That's where I am now. I have also tried other servers made by Brawl such as Minecraft Party, WarZ, Creative, etc. I feel like I have played brawl before the McPvP change. I hope to play this server for 2-3 years until I head off into my life!

What is your experience with moderating servers, if any? -

What will you provide to the community if you are provided moderator status? - Helping new players understand new abilities, such as kits, soup pvp, and the overall server. Helping find hackers, punishing rule breakers, and other items needed. ~I will also be kind and considerate and not use my abilities to harm or abuse other players.~


Have you ever used a hacked client before? - ~Now that I think about it, I had used it on singleplayer to see how the hacks were used and how they operated. I never once used them on Multiplayer, though.~

Have you ever been banned on a Minecraft server? If so, why? – Never and I will never do anything to be banned. (Never really got banned for advertisement, just kicked)


What do you consider your greatest strength? - Being Kind, Helpful, and Considerate. Not flaming over dieing is a main one. I try to help everyone through their situations. I help others in game even if it means me losing and them winning. ~I can also keep calm over situations, such as being with friends, being around players who are just there to troll or get a joke out, etc.~

What do you consider your greatest weakness? - I am very shy when it comes to my voice. My voice has sounded the same since I turned 13. I do not like talking too much. ~Also, I seem to studder over few sentences when I get nervous, but I will try my best to attempt to fix this.~


How active do you consider yourself on Brawl? - Somewhat. I'm usually on for an average of 1 and a half hours

Which Brawl servers are you most active on? - HG and CTF. I play War, WarZ and Minecraft party occasionally

How many hours can you provide a day and during what time frame? - Sundays I cannot help due to family matters. Every other day I can provide a 1-3 hour time frame around 12:00 PM MTN Time.

What would you do if someone breaks a rule in-game? - Depends on severity.

If someone is:

Flaming: I will tell them to calm down. If they refuse and keep flaming, I will mute for 1 minute. I will stay around until the mute is undone and see what happens from there.

Advertising: I will clear the chat using /prune and message them to stop. If they continue, I would mute for a minute. I’d tell them to stop, or else I’d have to mute them for an hour. If they advertised again, I’d /prune and then mute for an hour.

Hacking: I’d first check to see if they were really hacking. I will record while checking. If really hacking, I will kick for an hour. I would then post the video of them hacking to the forums.

What would you do if someone breaks a rule on the forums? –

If someone is:

Spam: I would lock the post they’re spamming on. If multiple posts, I will tell them to stop. If they continue, I will get a Sr. Mod+ to help me in the situation so I would know what to do in the future.

Being Rude: I would report the message and tell the person what they did wrong. If they continue to be rude, I would find a Sr. Mod+ to help me.

Posting In wrong thread: I would move the thread to the needed position.

Posting Answered questions: I would show them to the answered thread and then lock their thread.

What would you do if someone breaks a rule on TS3? –

If they are:

Using soundboards: I would move to jail and tell them what they are doing wrong. I would then take them out and see if they continue. If they do, I would ban for up to an hour and watch out for them.

Using random name: I would msg them to change their name to their in game name. If they don’t, I would kick them from the server for 1 sec. If they still don’t, I would kick for 1 minute.

Gore, 18+, or Screamer Links/Avatars: I would move them to jail and kindly ask them to change it to something appropriate. I would tell them I would keep them there until they changed it.

Screaming into microphone: move them to the background noise channel and message them to turn down microphone volume. If they don’t, I will set them to muted for an hour+

Posting inappropriate links: I would set them to Chat Muted and move them to jail. I would tell them to stop or else they would be kicked for an hour. If they kept doing it, I would kick them for an hour.

Being rude/annoying and other players continually ask them to stop: I will message them to stop. If they continue, I would move them to a private channel and talk to them. From there on, I would kick for an hour if they do not stop.


Situation (as a staff member): You log on Brawl, and you’re told that there is a huge, game-breaking economy glitch. No Admins are online to solve the situation. What steps would you take to handle the issue? – If the situation was true,I would immediately contact a Sr. Mod+ and tell them the situation. I would also tell the person who told me this not to tell anyone else and not abuse it. I would monitor the glitch and make sure nobody is doing it. If people are doing it, I would warn them, kick them, etc. to make sure nobody is abusing the situation. I would stay for however long it takes for the Sr. Mod+ to get on and help me handle the situation. I would also ask for other Mods to help me on other servers as well. ~Since I'd be moderating Hardcore Games, there are multiple glitches. I would post it privately if it wasn't an extreme problem that doesn't need immediate fixing.~

Do you have a working microphone? – Yes, but has a lot of background noise and I am very shy with my voice. ~I am willing to get a new microphone if I am accepted.~

Are you able to record and upload videos? – Yes, I might do gameplay videos, but for now, only hacker reports and other items I need to post. ~The channel is Turmac Brawl, I'm not going to post the link because I'm not here to advertise.~


Do you generally know how all the staff member commands work? – Yes. I looked off of https://www.brawl.com/threads/40891/ to figure out most of the commands. I do know other commands besides these such as World Edit and the kNoHax plugin.

Anything else we should know about you? – I play lacrosse and I love all sorts of ice cream. If I were stuck between living for 200 years and dieing 2 years with a lifetime supply of ice cream, I would die in 2 years. I love trapping and towering in the Hardcore Games, and like to find certain bugs with kits. If I find bugs, I post them on the forums. I love to play as the kit Viking and Endermage. I try to be helpful in every situation and I do not like to yell. ~I am also trying to learn how to record with Sony Vegas so I can get more players to play on Brawl.~

Although you may think I'm not active on ts, I'm actually on as long as I'm playing on brawl. Occasionally (once in a blue moon) I wouldn't get on brawl ts just for an fps boost, but that is very unlikely.
