[Mod] Staff Interview #18 - Buk Lau

Hello Brawlers! After a long break I decided to bring back the Staff Interviews series! To start back up we have SpeedBreaker here! Enjoy!

1) How and when did you find Brawl? I found Brawl back in 2013 when it was known as MultiplayerServers. They originally had War, WarZ, and Team-HG. My friend showed me WarZ and War. I stuck with War because I really liked the concept of it back then. Now I'm a fan of both.


2) Where does your name and original come from? My original name came from my Club Penguin account. I originally tried Speedo but it gave me 1735 as additional numbers. I chose those because they were actually the same as my 25 yard butterfly time when I was 8. 17.35 seconds.

My current name comes from a song by F-777 titled SpeedBreaker. I really loved the song so I decided to try SpeedBreaker. Now the name has stuck with me!


3) What are some things you would change on Brawl? I would change some of the perks ELITE gets because it's so similar to MVP on some servers. WarZ, Survival, Build, and a few other servers have perks. But War is one I'd really like to see have some perks for ELITE on.


4) What is your favorite server and what would you do to make it better? My favorite server(s) are War, WarZ, CTF, KitPvP, and FpsHG (#BringBackFpsHG2015). I would probably add more kits and classes to the kit based servers and maybe add a few new guns to War and WarZ. WarZ would get tier V guns and would be rarer than Golden apples and Mountain Dew. War would get a few donor guns and some new pistols for levels 50+.

5) Why you hang app on me (Buk Lau reference for you wondering)? I hang app on yuuu because you did not know how to make my orangey chikin and my boo sack noodle.


6) What do you currently find hard about being a moderator? I feel like having to always explain an answer for someone who keeps spamming the question many times. I try my best to answer everyone's question. I also have to always watch out for autoban notices. Gets a bit difficult trying to follow a hacker and open up chat to cancel the autos


7) What was the most stressful part about becoming/being a moderator? The interview. I'm honestly surprised an interview for a staff position made me really nervous. Probably because I wanted to really help out the community. Raven actually screwed with me and said I didn't pass. Thankfully he was joking ;-;


8) What made you want to become a moderator? I really wanted to help the community out. I wanted to help War and eventually every Brawl server. Keeping chat clear, hackers banned, you know, the usual stuff. It's also fun helping out new players and being a resource they can count on for information about anything related to Brawl.


9) Who were your first friends you met when you joined Brawl?
My first friends were @MafiaFerret, @Audi_, @Blamo, @joeymast99, @Queen_Shine, @booflame, lots of old war players

10) What are some things you enjoy most on Brawl? I really enjoy being here. It's a really cool place, the community is better than any other server I've played on. I also really enjoy helping people out, new players and old veterans.
