Ray nerf

Here we go again with these.
First off, barely anybody uses ray for other gamemodes, so nerfing the ray would be kinda pointless. Second, it would be better just to increase the spawn protection... Third, your video is private.
Seriously, instead of nerfing weapons, increase the spawn protection so people don't die in infect so quickly.

It's not the gun, it's the maps. Maps like encore are unfair, while killhouse is not. See how it varies?

Some maps where you have to go around a large and or long corner where spawn prot wheres off, you stand no chance.

 

Go into your YouTube settings and set the video as public.

 

Ray shouldn't have 100% accuracy, buy that's it IMO.

Oh this is ridiculous...

It's supposed to be strong as it gives an edge to people who donate and It's supposed to wrack you kills easier. That's why it's a "donar" gun because if people leveled up to earn and buy it (with credits), this place would be a storm. If someone doesn't like people using ray gun when they're a zed, my advice is...

1. Suck it up. The game is fine as it is. My only real problem is with the SMGS needing an upgrade and price fix.

2. Learn some tricks with grenades/flashbangs/c4

3. Buy armor in the middle of the game (while alive) so when you die, you have armor and you're slightly more resistant to explosives

4. Buy Marathon if you know for a fact you're dead/want to suicide

5. Repeat number 1.

As for you, I see no point in trying to idolize yourself and sympathize with the people who don't have donar equipment or are complaining about it. They can just buy it themselves or learn some strategies (I put up a few already) to defeating ray gun and LAW. The point you're trying to make is silly and the amount of people that buy raygun (more then you think) definitely is a bloodline to funding the forums and the many bungee servers Brawl has inside it and an effective tool if you're wanting to level up. So it's a good lesson for most players that "Life is hard, deal with it".

To everyone else, Ray's fine as it is. Just know you're lucky that you can't buy ray with credits.

He's talking about the ray buff, and how it got considerably better.

Well, I honestly think it should be kept how it is, the Ray Gun has been going through lots of nerfs and buffs, I think this one is one. If we nerf it even more... it would just suck.

 

Brawl needs the money, so they make guns that have a huge advantage.

 

Well, here's my issue:
Im fine with a one hit kill gun.
I'm fine with a one hit kill gun that has 100% accuracy.
I'm fine with a one hit kill gun that does splash damage.
I'm not fine with a one hit kill gun with 100% accuracy and splash damage. One of these needs to be reduced or removed. A bad idea would be to reduce damage. That'd be too harsh. Now, if we were to slightly buff the damage and nerf the accuracy to, say, 0.8, 0.1 aimed, then you have a pretty lethal weapon with the hip fire of desert eagle, just not one that hits it's target every time.

 

Or maybe make the projectile slower? Like it takes 1.5 seconds to reach the target destination. But nerfing the accuracy could be useful I guess.
