Remove the Auto-Ban System

I'm watching the replay on your auto ban. You're flying around on the lobby.

 

There's lag on lobby that causes people to fly when they double tap space though

 

Then thats a problem with the lobby and not with the Brawl Anti Cheat. Disabling it wouldn't solve anything.

 

Look, the autoban was doing it's job recognizing a flying player. It used to happen all the time on CTF on McPvP. The difference was the ban was for 10 minutes 1st offense and then it went up. this would both deter hackers (10 minutes ban is enough to make them think "crap they may have caught me") and small enough that if it was falsely triggered, you could move on with your life.

 

The auto ban system is to catch hackers its suppose to be there.... It will not be removed.

 

So what? If it was only for 10 minutes, nobody would care.The 12 hours is ridiculous, yes, but the amount of hackers is ridiculous as well.

 

I like to fly in the lobby ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

 

got banned in the kit pvp cause i just was clicking around like crazy for hit the horseman

We've been trying to tackle this issue for a while, and it shouldn't happen anymore.
The autoban won't be removed, we're actively working on improving detections, and the 12 hour bans are only while the detection ratio is still too low.

 

It happens to me also. When I first join the lobby the lag causes me to fly around but eventually it pulls you back

The Auto-Ban system is the most reliable thing I've ever seen regarding bans. When someone is probably hacking, the B.A.C (=BrawlBot) sends a message to all Mods on the server

Ex: "[Player is probably hacking (ForceField by distractions dummy-60%)]"

This message is sent in the chat before auto-banning this presumed hacker. Thereafter, if the mod who was on the server did nothing, a message appears by saying:

"[Player] will be automatically banned for Hacking [Type of hacks - %] [Type of hacks -%] in 10 seconds".

Nonetheless, if a mod doesn't want this player to get banned, he can simply cancel the auto-ban and deal with the hacker by himself.

It's been ages since we were looking for a coder who was capable of making this. When he first released the Auto-Ban system, there were lots of mistakes. But now I think you can thank @ThaRedstoner for making this.
