Ammo drops (War 2.0 or whatever)

    When your enemy dies by you, they drop ammo of what gun you use in the exact spot they died in, (pistols do not count) that can only be picked up by you.
    Note: The ammo will disappear in 30 seconds if you're unable to collect it in time.
    Assault Rifles = 4 rounds
    SMGs = 8 rounds
    Snipers = 2 rounds
    Shotguns = 2 rounds
    Donor guns, I can not tell because there is currently no information on the donor weapons.

    I feel like you're missing the main point of this thread...
    Meaning that if you were to kill someone far away, you would have to travel over there in-order to get it, rather than it having the ammo come to you.

    I really like this idea, +1. But sadly, I don't think Brawl is going to add this, and here's why. As stated above by @turkeywing_999, scavenger is one of mc-wars top and highest selling product. If this was added, that would sort of be like another scavenger, just not as over powered. In the long run, it would make Brawl's profit ratio plummet.

    But you have to run/walk all the way to the ammo, in which that is either good for the player, or can lead to a bad decision. I'll play around with this a bit more to come up with a reasonable idea. Again, it doesn't automatically come towards you unlike what real scavenger does, so it's a risk or worth-it situation.

    I really like the idea. When I heard the title, I thought you meant ammo crates like the ones dropped by planes, and I think that could be a good idea too.

    Nice idea, might be half useless in ctf/tdm since you don't have so many close range shots like in ffa.

    You can only pick up ammo from people you kill, so no-one will steal ammo from you :stuck_out_tongue:

    Which is exactly why people buy scavenger, no risks, you just get it.

    Umm.
    This is the way the Scavenger perk works in Call of Duty.
    This would make the original perk worthless.
    The way I see it is that we should much rather make McWar like 8vs8 and have the ability to pick up guns.

    The way the current scavenger works is it does a % of your ammo and gives it to you. However you have to physically walk towards the ammo and it disappears after 30 seconds, although now that I think of it, all the ammo does kinda seem a bit too much. Changed the ammo around now.

    I know it's scavenger from CoD :L, however it's more balanced.

    Nice idea piky, But theres some flaws I see here:

    1 scavanger gives around 10 ammo back when You kill Some one i belive, and then if you only get like 2 shoots, its not Worth it for the peaple with scavanger to go and risk it, They can easely get shoot when running to it.

    2For an example on a CTF game when theres about 500 kills on the blue team (just an example) that means 500 thingys, Thats either going to lag or its going to be UGLY..

    3This might be hard to code,Can any one with Coding experiance tell us if this is hard to make?

    4Not only will the Maps look bad, it might be hard to navigate, for an example, your camping a 3 block heigh doorway, you kill One player, then another untop of the chest, Then that doorway is not "functional" anymore.

    5And how are we going to do if a player dies in spawn, basicly hes afk and dies on the exakt block where players respawn.

    1. People with scavenger probably won't even need to go there if they're constantly refilling their ammo by killing :stuck_out_tongue: Although that's why I'm wanting to push this into playing more risky for surviving more.

    2. Like I said in my post, "Note: The ammo will disappear in 30 seconds if you're unable to collect it in time.", meaning that this can't lag out as it will be deleted later.

    3. Making the ammo drops and ammo disappearing might be difficult to code but I have no exact knowledge of it works. Plugins can probably play around with it. Good point on this.

    4. I'm assuming you're talking about blocks, they don't drop any chests or blocks. It's only non-block entity drops.

    5. To solve that, don't kill people at their spawns or even near their spawns. It's simple. Although, this problem is actually very huge and thanks for bringing it up. The huge problem that you mentioned (in a more detailed way now) is on certain maps where not everybody will rush in and it's impossible to secure certain areas to get your ammo.
