    I've come up with another minigame idea, this time based off a game I played at my Youth Group. The game is called Torpedo, even though the game is completely different then what the name suggests.

    It works like this. Players run from one end of a field/arena to the other end. 2 players (randomly chosen) are in the middle at both sides with bows. They have a maximum of 2-3 arrows. Normally in Minecraft Party, if you get out you get tp'd above the arena. However for this game it's a little different. If you get hit, you stay rooted to the spot you got hit and become a "landmine". As a landmine, your job is to punch players running across the arena. The remaining players have to navigate across the arena while dodging landmines and arrows.

    I thought this would be a cool idea, and of course the game can be tweaked to make it more fun or interesting. Let me know what you think.

    Sounds like a game I've played before called Sharks and Minnows.

    My only concern is that the people randomly chosen to be the archers aren't given a chance at winning the game. Also, 2 to 3 arrows to get upwards of 10-20 people out doesn't see right. I'd say just make it like Shoot the Sheep, where you get unlimited arrows.

    I do like the landmine thing though, but I think that once you are eliminated by an archer, a pressure plate should spawn where you died and if anyone steps on that, they are eliminated (sort of like Minefield). Only reason I suggest this is just to maintain the same spectate mode for everything.

    Same, I played that in Cross Country :v, I'd agree with this point entirely, except I think the minefield would be too easy. I really like the concept of this idea, one very minor detail I should address is that all the Party games have a simple feel yet fast-paced and exciting, similar to it's match "Arcade". This seems a bit more towards the complicated side, but I dunno, but it's very fast-paced and exciting.

    The pressure plate is actually a better idea and would be easier to code now that I think about it...

    Yeah, maybe when you are eliminated it spawns pressure plates in random places all over the map (more than one).

    You could also just make the arena smaller.

    by the way I'm a final Fantasy Fan too

    Edit: Now that I have read it, not bad of a game. But what if the 2 players chosen at random do nothing? What if they miss all their shots? What would happen if there was not a time limit?

    There would be a regular time limit, if 2 players do nothing for 20 seconds they would be replaced to keep the game going, and if they miss all their shots the other side wins when the time runs out.
