I Got DDoSed...

    Hey guys,
    iEBKN here!


    And yesterday was one of the worst days of my life. This was suppose to go out yesterday but I my Internet was already ****ed to the max. If you guys don't know what DDoS it is a type of DOS (Denial of Service attack) which your Internet goes down and can't play games for a while. It usually happens to live streamers but I am far from a live streamer.

    It all happened yesterday when i was playing FIFA 16 on my PS4. I went on Skype and I turned my PS4 off and i went to play TF2 and I was KILLING this guy over and over. Like he was really bad. He then says my IP in the ****in chat. I don't even know how the hell he got it but he just did. Then 5 minutes later my Internet goes off. I wanted to use my neighbors VPN but he didn't let me so I was screwed the whole night. And that was basically it.

    It was hell but thank god he is done, by the way will he be allowed to DDoS me again?

    Unless you have a dynamic IP or a box that filters and blocks off excessive data sources, yes, you can be DDoSed by him again.

    My main recommendation is prevention, swap your IP out, set up your Skype config properly, and just be careful.
    People who aren't prepared get DDoSed. I haven't been hit off in months.

    Getting a VPN is very easy. Maybe try out this. This VPN actually sped up my game speed.

    Also there are some VPNs that I know that if the ddosers ddos the person the packet gets send back to them. :wink:
