To the complainers

It doesn't matter how hard they work if they're working really inefficiently on low-priority stuff. I can go and work really hard on something, but that doesn't mean that it's going to be good and useful.

 

While you do have a point, the thing I (and the rest of the old members) am trying to say is that War 2.0 should have been done 2 years ago. We were promised 2.0 by christmas of 2013, and 2 years later we still haven't made any progress since then. You can understand why people are getting so frustrated - we don't want Wild West, we want 2.0.

 

If you view the brawl devs twitter, you will see that they are working on important things. Wild West - a new server - is going to be opened soon. I think that's pretty "good and useful".

Of course I understand your frustration. However, nothing can be done to change the errors made in the past. As stated by putty here, they are trying to fix their communication issues. I think the best thing to do now is to enjoy Wild West (when it comes out), and let the coders do their work in peace without the war community stepping on their heels.

 

Someone's heels need stepping on after 2 years and 0 progress.

 

Honestly, my worry is that players will leave and the server will be bought out by a more successful group.

 

How does pressuring them make the problem solved? Why would they want to make war 2.0 their priority after the rude remarks written by the community? It obviously hasn't helped you so far. Anyways, war will be worked on soon as stated here:

 

Have you read Putty's thread?
The developers are the people who control updates, release dates, etc. Most devs don't really read these posts. The front-end staff do ex. Mods, Jmods, Smods, Putty. Something I think this post is trying to prove is that we're frustrated and told we don't care and were doing a bad job. When in reality we have no control. The developers are doing their job, but it's hard to code. Brawls hired alot of more devs recently. I know that they'll come out with War 2.0, Brawl 2.0 etc. faster with the extra help.

Hating on the forums will get us no where and telling mods they don't care will get us no where.

I'd hardly call any of the remarks rude and I find it mostly impressive how they've reacted after more than 2 years of waiting. I'd be flipping tables if i was waiting that long

 

My response is similar to expert's post above. I have nothing new to say.

We could complain all we wan't like we've been doing for a while now, but it won't get us anywhere. The most we can do is wait, ironically.
