That's when I bought this account, but before that I used my friends accounts for over a year,
my first log in to MCPVP was in September of 2012, onto HG.

As far as Minecraft goes, I would say over the years I've learned a thing or two about how it works...

What is your experience with moderating servers, if any? -
MCPVP.com moderator on a couple things.
Global moderator on Brawl.
Former admin on MunchyMc.com

What will you provide to the community if you are provided moderator status? -
The most important thing I will provide for the community, is experience, and general knowledge of the community and it's past. There are people who have been on HG for longer than I have, but in my time as a mod and player, I've learned a lot of what the community feels, thinks, and wants, and I think that is why I would be a good moderator.

Have you ever used a hacked client before? -
Yes [I was a Beta tester for KNH2 on MCPVP, and have worked with several friends in the past on testing new anti-cheats]

Have you ever been banned on a Minecraft server? If so, why? -
No... not on this account. On my alt, I have been on one server, I'll elaborate if asked, but I don't think it's any issue anymore.

What do you consider your greatest strength? -
I think my greatest strength, is my work ethic. On MCPVP, in total, I had an in-game time of 66 days, which means 1,584 hours of my time, in-game, not even mentioning my 3 weeks of forum read time, which would come out to about 504 hours of time on the forums reading other posts. It's hard to deny, that I've dedicated a good amount of my life to the Brawl and MCPVP communities.

What do you consider your greatest weakness? -
I think my greatest weakness, is my lack of ability to communicate with those I distrust. I've been playing MC for a long time, and I've made some enemies here and there, and I think that if my communication skills were better, so many different situations could've turned out a lot better. Ever since I've realized this though, I've been working hard to remind myself in certain situations, that sometimes just talking is the way to fix something.

How active do you consider yourself on Brawl? -
I'd say overall, on the forums, teamspeak, and in-game, I'm exceptionally active for a staff member.

Which Brawl servers are you most active on? -
It would probably just be easier to list the servers I don't spend a lot of time on, that being, Minestrike, Skyways, and WarZ.

How many hours can you provide a day and during what time frame? -
Depends on the day of the week, and what week it is, it obviously changes with finals and big exams, but for the most part, a good two hours out of every week day, and on the weekends, about 10 hours.

What would you do if someone breaks a rule in-game? -
Advertising: Warn the player, and then mute for the right amount of time.
Hacking: Record evidence and kick player for appropriate amount of time.
Hate speech/Racism/Bypassing chat filter/Spamming: Warn the player, and mute them in increasing intervals.
Inappropriate name: Warn players of the policy and that they will be banned if they do not change their name, unless I have the permissions to ban them myself.
Bug Abusing: Warn them to stop, and kick them if they continue.

What would you do if someone breaks a rule on the forums? -
Duplicate threads: Lock thread and link to the original one.
Advertising: Unapprove thread and lock it.
Wrong section: Move thread to the proper section of the forums.
18+/Gore: Unapprove posts [JMods don't have delete and suspend perms] and report to a higher-up ASAP.

What would you do if someone breaks a rule on TS3? -
Background noise: Tell the player they need to use push to talk, and assign them that server group if needed.
Obnoxious behavior with microphone/Voice changers - Mute the player and move them to the rules channel. If they don't stop, move them to Jail, and if that still doesn't work, perm mute them.
18+/Gore links: I'd move them to Jail and make sure they know that isn't allowed, and then ban them if they kept doing it.
Unacceptable picture: Warn them and ask them to change the picture, and ban them if they do not comply.

Situation (as a staff member): You log on Brawl, and you’re told that there is a huge, game-breaking economy glitch. No Admins are online to solve the situation. What steps would you take to handle the issue? -
First step, you need to familiarize yourself with the situation, you need to find out what the glitch is, who is abusing it, and if they are abusing it beyond the scope of recording and sending it to a staff member.

Second step, after determining the information above, you need to kick those who are using it, and make it clear to everyone on the server that they will receive a consequence if they follow suit, and try to abuse the bug.

The most important thing to do in a situation like this, is, you need to keep on top of it. You can't leave the server, you have to stay and reassure players the bug will get fixed, answer any questions, and kick those who try to abuse it, and once an Admin does come online, you need to report the bug to them ASAP.

1. I occasionally hopped on Mineplex/Hypixel every couple of weeks, but I never got as involved with another community as I was with MCPVP.
2. Yes, as an admin on MunchyMc.com, I spent several sessions testing the nohax plugin on alts.
3. MunchyMc, for hacking, I was testing one of the moderators to see how long it would take him to ban me. [5 minutes if you were wondering]
4. CTF and HG are where I spend most of my time probably, overall on CTF my play time outnumbers any other gamemode I've ever played... somewhere around 40 in-game days or something. But I spend more time on HG these days.
5. Nope, if my headphones ever do break, I will get one, but until that happens I'll just being using my current set. I've had a lot of practice with typing my responses in the channel chat, which has so far been sufficient enough to participate in many discussions.
6. I log onto the forums as often as possible. My school allows me to use my iPad when I'm at school, so even when I'm in the middle of class, I can stalk the forums. Whenever I get home, I usually log into Brawl as soon as I can, and then work on HW while playing, or AFK'ing. I also log into TS at this time, and switch between the AFK channel and the HG room.

Thank you for the feedback. I know my application isn't the longest or the best, but I think I presented as much valuable information as there was to give, and I was hoping someone would ask questions where they felt I was unclear in anyway.

 

Really, a solid answer of when I hop on, is extremely hard to give. Sometimes I stay after school randomly, sometimes I have after-school activities that pop up, and sometimes I go out to dinner on weekdays. But usually, pretty late at night. On weekends, a lot more, but again it varies pretty easily.
