Will Brawl go 1.9?

    With the release of 1.9 almost here, I am wondering if Brawl, or more specifically Hardcore Games will be going 1.9. 1.8 already destroyed pvp in a way because blockhitting is jacked up and looks dumb as hell. As you may know, 1.9 is getting rid of blockhitting, adding long sword delays, and is adding in shields. I honestly don't think 1.9 would work well. Please tell me if Brawl will go 1.9, and if it does, what plans will be implemented so HG and other pvp based gamemodes will be compatible. Thanks

    SAO will be in 1.9, but other than that I'm not sure.

    it took 6-8 months for most servers to switch over from 1.7 to 1.8.. we've got some more time

    I hope not i still hate play in 1.8 a german server (gommehd's server) just made the server 1.8 and it was 1.7 as well since last 2 weeks :/ i loved to play on 1.7 that was pure skill 1.8 is "who has the best internet" 1.9 is "who has time"

    I'd say riot shields. Theese would give a slowness effect but you wouldn't get the added accuracy. Griffey could make a "SWAT" texture for them

    I would assume brawl, and every successful server for that matter would have to update at some point in time, however I do not expect it to be nearly instant.

    And cant you make some servers 1.7/18 compatible?

    I think Brawl will eventually be updated in a few months after the realease of the 1.9. I don't see a reason to be in a hurry, so I'm sure Brawl will take their time while updating.

    Because 1.9 will cause HG to die. 1.8 already killed off half of HG, now 1.9

    If you take your time updating, make sure to make the server compatible with the people who did update to 1.9 please.
