Fix It.

It was fixed, but recently it has been coming back for me. I do not know what caused this but with new updates, I doubt this is a priority to Brawl's coders.

 

I'm not sure we know the exact source of the lag...

 

Lag outs, or bullet backlag? I get the backlag on my bullets, but then I just chose another war and that's fine. My friend gets some really pissoff lagouts

 

First of all, pinpoint the source of the lag. Whenever a spike occurs, you should mentally take note of the environment. What factors might cause the lag? Write all of this down, then report back with your new evidence.

If you're just going to tell us to "fix the lag", we know absolutely nothing. We don't know why the lag occurs, we don't know when the lag occurs. Details are everything.

 

I'm not certain that it's on Brawl's end. I haven't been experiencing lag at all.

 

Try doing '/lag', it notes down the gamespeed, try doing '/ping' as well to see if it's a problem with Brawl taking in your packets, so try seeing packet loss (idk how). If this happens a lot you can try playing on a server with less people .

 

Hmmm, like I said which servers do you play on, ones with a high number of players? Or low number of players?

 

Yeah the lag is definitely become a big problem again. Ping stays steady but there are lag spikes that are consistent. To what they are consistent I don't know, but I've played 10 games in the last 5 days and 9 of them were terribly laggy.


I'll do a debug and see if I can find any info.

On the topic, I haven't had any more lag than I usually get except for over 45-50 player ffa gamemodes.

 

Happens all the time, this is also the "skully glitch" if it ghosts (freezes for you) while the skully is mid burst, sometimes it will shoot minigun style ongoing till the lag spike ends. Anyone who gets in the blast is instantly dead.

 

Now I'm experiencing the lag... it's pretty bad. It should be fixed soon.

 

I never lag and the only time I get a lag spike is in gungame due to the insane amount of stuff going on during the match.

You can do /lag and /ping to see gamespeed and ping accordingly.
