What is the hardest console game you have ever played in your life?

    So what is the HARDEST CONSOLE game you have EVER played in your LIFE? I have nightmares about 1 game. The game is called Jak 2. It's on the Ps2, Ps3, and PS VIta. And I rage and sometimes cry at some missions I cant get past. They give you no/little life packs. No/little/ checkpoints (usually) and the AI 12 years ago is really good. The computers weren't retarded. And you die about every 5 seconds.
    At least your allies in some missions weren't retards like in most games. Unlike most games, Jak 2 allies don't run in walls forever. They do a good job at defending themselves and even YOU. You can leave them alone and most allies will get the job done and start defending you after they defeated all the enemies near them. Although that also means the enemies were also smart. And hell, they were. :frowning: Anyways, I will show you the hardest mission on Jak 2 a PROFESSIONAL is trying to complete, and it took him like 16 tries.

    Jak also have other games. The first was Jak and Daxter: The precursor's legacy. This mission was also hard, although Jak 2 missions are the HARDEST.

    Jak 3 was also pretty hard too. This mission made me cry here...

    So Jak 2 was the hardest ever in my life. what about you?

    I have played all six Jak & Daxter games, and the second one must indeed be my favorite. I remember that mission in the water slums where you had to retrieve that item, and then get back to Haven City fighting through an endless wave of krimzon guards. And it isn't even possible to swim through it all :L
    The third game doesn't have any fun challenges like that, and halfway through the game you have weapons OP enough to take out any horde of enemies in seconds.

    The hardest console game? Can't be decided.

    Although technically I played it on the PC because it's multiplatform, XCOM Enemy Unknown/Within on ironman impossible is, quite literally, the single hardest game ever made by man.

    One mess up can make you have to restart your entire game.

    Final Fantasy 1 (NES). That game makes you want to throw your controller at the wall and break into a million pieces. But still, it's a rewarding game to beat :grinning:

    I hate rail shooting in Jak 2.... So frustrating. Takes like 2-4 kills to kill krimzon guards.... And the heat up of the gun... And u get no health packs.... So annoying

    And in jak 3, how about the car missions, or shooting metal heads with that turret gun, or transport missions, or the mission where daxter was stupid enough to get on a rocket and 5 rockets start following daxter.... That mission was so annoying. Jak missions so hard

    My profile pic is from Jak and Daxter :stuck_out_tongue:. I tell you if you went back and played the game now, you would easily beat it. It was most likely just you being young, because honestly they are easy games.

    I love them so much though.
    You should watch the speedruns of the Jak games, they are so insanely cool to watch.


    I recently bought Jak and Daxter Frontier or whatever, and I still haven't played it, is it good?

    and people say that the Lost Frontier is not good, just saying. Never played it though
    (and by the way I never really payed full attention to your forum picture. Now that you mention it, it does look like it's from Jak and Daxter...)
