    That could easily be strength, or some enchant. Try checking it out with a few friends out before you actually confirm it, this doesn't really give that much information...

    i always play with particles on, you can see the critical hit particles flying everywhere and there were no red potion effects anywhere
    the sword wasn't enchanted...

    No it was pretty clear, critical particles, it's not like you really get strength in HG unless you're playing a certain kit and there wasn't an enchant.

    Alright, crits have been fixed for good. Thanks to everyone for reporting the bug. For the interested, here's why it was broken:

    The bug WAS actually fixed back when I posted the changelog. Recently someone changed the code which was supposed to detect critical hits and broke it. This prevented the plugin from detecting and nerfing them (from +50% to +12.5%). This is why the iron sword in the video caused 10.5 damage (5 hearts) instead of 7 (3.5 hearts). I have just uploaded the fix, it should apply very soon.
