Dear PM Peeps

I've actually gotten a decent amount of people PMing me asking for some war/donation help.

 

Pm's doesn't bother me.

 

What if new people from brawl want to pm for help, but is too scared for people to know. When they read the msg PM they will be more confortable.

 

Welcome to Brawl. PM me if you need any help. Actually I've gotten a few PM's from people asking for help or just to chat. Many dont seem to get mad if I don't reply right away. Also, sometimes saying that is just to let people know that they have someone willing to help

 

First 2 sentences weren't needed tbh.

As for the thread, I don't see a particular problem. It doesn't do any harm anyway.

 

I see this is where we find Forum Tryharders. ( I can consider myself a little bit, not too must I hope xD )
But we cannot do much about it, as many people say this, so we can't warn everyone of them.
PM is a pretty decent Question Ask System, so it is useful, but only when people actually message you.
So I don't know how to say... but this threath isn't gonna help I think

 

I was first writing what I usually write on intros then i stated why i don't think it's bad.

 

Back in the days where I really wanted to be a mod, I used to do this. I remember people needing help a lot and everyone was calling them noob. If I join a new server (let's say Hypixel) and I don't know how to do a certain thing and somebody is saying that I should pm them if they need help, then I gladly take advantage of that possibility.
If you are not online, people won't get angry if they can't pm you. There are enough other people who are helpful on these servers.
I think it's good if people act like this. But here's a tip, if you're trying to be helpful so you could be a mod, then don't attract too much attention. Just answer a question if someone asks it in the chat. Don't push yourself to them.

 

I don't understand the problem in this. In my opinion, I think that this extends an invitation to a person who is new. Even if they don't PM you, you still are reaching out to them in a friendly manner. I know that there are other ways to be friendly, but this is a chance to help them too; killing two birds with one stone, if you will.

 

I usually post for people to PM @Striker_Sly....

And PM my fan club if they have Evil questions and someone will get back to them never.

Everyone just needs to say PM @Striker_Sly if you have any questions....

 

I've done this and been able to help people through it before, so I think it is perfectly fine. :V As for begin annoyed when they don't get help immediately, the people that I have helped have only been grateful.

 

Same, I think people appreciate any help.

I've turned questions people ask me into guides that I share...If I'm going to help I might as well
share with others.

And I don't think they mind if it takes a while to get back.

Between seeing all the Maxim cover models and planning to take over the world they understand if I am a little preoccupied. In general, I think people just appreciate help from the one and only Evil Overlord.

 

I feel like only saying "Welcome" or "PM me" is post farming.
Saying things like:
Hey ….

Welcome to our forums, and our Brawl community.
I suppose you've played a few games on our Brawl minecraft server, and I hope the games and players we're very nice.

I agree with this 100%. When I had a problem, I asked smod+ for help...
