So. Hello to the people who are reading this. As you know (if you are part of the WarZ community) we are pretty much well known as the 'saltiest' 'worst' community on the brawl server. I am here to try my best into bringing that to a stop or less of a bad situation. As of now we are in a tough situation, the WarZ community itself is Getting worse by the day. With now only having 2 JMODS to keep control of 10 servers being me and @xislo we can both agree we need YOUR help. Honestly, if you want to contribute in this all it would take is to stop calling people "ez" after fights, treat people in a good manor; that way they will treat you nicely back in the future. Anything to help the community at this moment is needed.

I see the CTF community. They share images, have IRL pages and are in all honesty nice to each other. At this moment I'm pretty sure that we all know what would happen if someone tried that here at WarZ. Like for real. If I posted an image of myself on the WarZ forum section within 2 days there would be memes everywhere. People would have photoshopped me to things people would be offensive and heartless. Yeah I mean we can still have pranksters and funny people among us. but the flame and heartlessnes has to come to an end for the majority of the WarZ community.

Look, all I'm simply asking for is a change. Forget your pasts, start fresh. Be a new person here. When you clutch that 5v1. "Gf" is all it takes.

Most of all the WarZ community need to rise above who they actually are. We don't have enough staff to manage the server. We honestly to be at least manageable for WarZ need 7 staff members who are good and active. YOU reading this right now. Do you think that you could step up to that position? Help pull the community together? If you began to clean up your act now maybe you could be holding that glamorous pink tag soon.

You can take this as a joke but it is a serious matter. These are just a handful of the things I come across daily on the servers:
    • Cyber bullying
    • Death Threats/Wishes
    • Flame
    • Disrespect
    • DDoS Threats
Like really? You can be the change.

Also if you have come here to say. "But Ritzy you dumbo, that's the way it is." Well, if we don't try now I really don't see how we are going to get anywhere else. We can do this if we try.

The problem here is that WarZ is extremely competitive and one mistake can end entirely anything, which leads to lots of rage that people have really bad tempers with. Would a community bother to listen with their huge ego's?
Why? Well, when you put survival from zombies and pvp with people needing MVP to become a "god" (cause it's nearly impossible to get anywhere with a white name). Also, lets not forget that combos allowing you to kill full diamonds instantly makes the rage even more.
But most of you WarZ people really have some problems with death threating and DoS'ing somebody over pixels.

You've filled in some gaps here. All I really want to see is some people who I know as immature on the server start changing for the better.:stuck_out_tongue:

I can easily contribute to this, seeing as I've been able to do it before.

When I came back, I realized what's the point of being nice about some pixels on a game?

Well people have to realize, that you could say something really hurtful to someone, you're saying it to another human, not some blocks. On your side it's not that big of a deal, but what about on the other side?

Someone could be dealing with something really serious in their life and you saying something could ruin their day even worse than it is.

Take that into account before you talk trash or you say something hurtful, I know I have.

I made a thread all focused towards fixing the Brawl community, that was like a year ago, but it still applies. Since it's old I guess you can discuss it here .-. in relation to this thread.

It's not so much the 'newer' players that are contributing to this case either, it's more of the older players that have been a part of the community for much longer than others just contributing to the fact that talking trash is okay and it's accepted here at Brawl. That isn't the case, but newer players don't know that, they look up the older players for advice, game strategy's and much more. It's basically monkey see, monkey do in the WarZ community as of now. We need to work all as one instead of individually to fix the issue.

You just provoked me to photoshop some of your pics. :grinning:

On topic, yeah, the trash talk is annoying and the hackussations in game are too much. Just say it aloud in your house.

But how will we stop people from trash talking?
One idea I thought of is, more events to event items, VIP/MVP and such. It doesn't have to be just for livestreaming... There can be a general thread in the WarZ forum, prior to 30 days before the actual event so you people have time. Lets open up more to these events, allow people to have more fun with event items. If you lose the event item, you have another chance at it in a next event. These events can be very simple of who can do this or that or fight against the staff or Free for All on who gets the most kills in the amount of time.

Also, why not more weapons into WarZ? What are your thoughts on more weapons?

I don't expect for there to be absolutely no trash talking on WarZ. I just want to see it slimmed down.

For example (people actually do this) when people 5v1 you and you are annoyed as it is, then after the 5v1 they all flood ez in chat. No one wants that. It's immature, as a staff member it puts me in breaking point and I don't flame anyway so I can't imagine what it does to our community...

The way I see this working is a sort of Pay It forward type of style. Be nice to a bunch of people. They will be nice back. Say gf to people instead of ez. They will say it back. If people get angry over death maybe offer them a tolog with some starting loot like a compass, guns, and food. All of the little things help.

You have a really good point, but how exactly would we achieve this state? One person (for example, me) could go on WarZ, play a lot, be nice and still not do anything for the entire community.

I did mention how to stop this teaming issues by not allowing people to really team but have buddies where you only take some % of damage from them.
Meh, I guess the other idea is a waste.
What if there was a bot that would catch any insult towards others, it deducts your points of earning something. (if it detects numbers or other sort of text to bypass it, it will still deduct your points of earning something).
If you've been good by not saying any insults, you gain some weaponry and some some amount of cash to the Brawl store ever x amount of days or weeks or month. Just a thought.
I can see where this is faulty by saying a insult without meaning to.

It's really dependent on the situation, things like this aren't going to change over night. I'm not sure if you're aware but warz is extremely competitive and dramatic server (team wise), therefor there will always be angry people, flaming and getting mad. While I do agree with you and think we could tone it down a bit it is really dependent on what your situation is on warz. It's either you're on a big solid team with cool people that treat you nice or you're on a competitive team that treats each other like **** but still play together or you're stuck between teams or are playing solo and getting betrayed or dying a lot. The number people in my last point is a lot higher than the number of people in a structured and friendly team. It also doesn't help with false bans and some biased staff members. There are many factors that contribute to why the warz community sucks and why it's been this way for so long and why it's worsened and why it won't change (and I can promise you that).

Don't believe me? Well warz has always been like this, I don't know why all of a sudden people are saying the community sucks. Don't get me wrong it has worsened but people have always been like this especially the old players such as myself. We have always trash talked to extreme measures, we have always called hacks excessively, and we have always been one of the worst communities. My theory for why it's such a big issue now is because the people are leaving and the amount of players has decreased by quiet a lot. And with big teams being an issue the past year or so warz has kind of split into certain groups who more or less dislike one another. While there is a lot of teams being developed and being disbanded, people are always going to be in a team that conflicts with another and are always going to get angry, flame, threaten, and dislike one another.

Still don't believe me? Let's look at another game shall we; CS:GO. While people on this game can be friendly there are also a lot of assholes, again it's all dependent on the situation. To sum It all up; when people are winning they're happy and when they're losing they're not. And that is how warz is and always will be. An increase of mods isn't going to better the situation. I had people hate me simply because of my rank when I was mod (granted I wasn't the best considering I played with a banned player). It will only help with controlling chat now and again, not bettering the community, that is a lie.

The community is bad because of how easy it is to die. You spend an hour looting, and then get one shot from behind.
People get angry, and when they do others take their anger as a personal offense.
Now, think about this. Would you like to know that you drove another member of this community to end their life because of cyber bullying? I have had tough times, and loved WarZ. People would put me down, and hurt me. A few times have I actually thought of what I mentioned above. And it was from being cyber bullied on Brawl. I only became more confident after leaving Brawl for about 4 months a while back. You may say, "Oh, it is just pixels. There is no harm in making this kid feel like a waste." But that's wrong. Some people are ticking time bombs, and the insults make them explode. Next time you want to yell at someone, or insult them. Think about what I said here. The smallest things can have an impact on people lives, good or bad. Try to make a good one, and make people feel like they belong.
