    We already see what server the report is coming from, so we could just do it from there.
    or 30 seconds like the report function

    A mod would be able to get to you within 5 mins. When it would be 30 seconds there would be impatient guys spamming it.

    Nope. Reporting is when someone is hacking, support would be used when you have a question.

    If it's /support, I'm pretty sure anyone could handle it. For example, a person doesn't know how to get to their build on mcbuild, or someone doesn't know how to get guns on warZ. Fairly simple stuff.

    you think there aren't impatient people with /report? I get what you're saying though. Maybe each minute, because every 5 minutes is way too long.

    I like the idea, maybe make some way to directly reply to them if it's a simple question (though just going into the server would probably be easier). A one minute cooldown would likely be fine, that wouldn't end up being too spammy.

    I think that is actually the biggest problem, that we don't know when there is a mod/admin online. I believe someone else made a thread about this. The idea was: getting a message of the mod or a bot that the problem has been fixed or not.
    I think that is still a good idea.

    Most of the legitimate issues (besides hackers, but that's what /report is for) that people need support with require either:
    • A conversation via teamspeak
    • A forums PM so that the issue can be explained without the restraint of the character limit per each MC chat message.

    I can see this being heavily used for trolling, and for asking questions that are able to be answered by looking at the wiki/in-game tutorial.

    Exactly. Doing /support would be even faster, as all mods (whose jobs are to help players) would see and would be able to help.
