    If I download ts3 on another computer and use it (with the same nickname) will it count me as a different person because I'm using it on a different computer??

    I'm talking about it on the technical side of things. Everyone will know it's me but will the actual client count me as someone else? I'm still a ts3 noob :grinning:

    Yes, it would. It counts you on a different machine, which doesn't have the same computer address. You won't have the same buddies or the same description and avatar.

    Every instance of TS3 has a unique identity, meaning two instances of TS3 installed on the same machine will count as different people on the server. This means your ranks, perms, etc. will be gone on the second account.

    You may also export an identity and import it on another computer. All ranks on TS servers are linked to your identity.
