Overpowered cbow

once I thought the cBow was OP
then I realized its totally fair. dont nerf it

Tac, why do you think that no weapon takes skill to use?

And knowing the arc 'n stuff IS skill.

 

The CBow is totally balanced. You have to remember it has the same physics as a normal bow. Not some snowball with infinite momentum.

 

As a user of the bow a great deal back in September I find that this weapon is a specialist type. Specialist meaning if you take the time and dedicate yourself to learning all the tricks and strategies of the bow you can become quite versed with it. When you say "Walk 4 blocks and get blown up by the arrow still lodged in your skull" you do have spawn resistance and will not die from a arrow stuck to you when you respawn.

 

Maybe nerf the explosion not to insta kill you...

Bow is fine as it is.

 

1.Insta kill weapons: L118a, Dragunov, MSR, L120_Isolator, Disassembler, Law, Demolisher, Moddel, Spas12, Spas24.
2.More or less insta kill weapons: Skully, Famas, Typhoid.
3. You can't move well while drawing
4. Has nearly no range unless at full draw, even then limited
5. Insta kill is only a chance, it usually isn't
6. Spawn protection prevents you from being blown up a second time, that point is... well... pointless

And you're here whining about the one gun out of them all that takes the most skill to use?

 

The weapon that commonly kills people in-game and or a weapon that players do not fully understand is the thing that is targeted / persecuted.

 

Look. When you nerf guns like the ray and cbow the people who donated feel scammed! And I hate getting called "crossbow noob" when 1st off I'm almost level 50 and 2nd noob means NEW not IDIOT or BUTT!!!!!!! Look it up. What I say is true.

Considering that the people who use the cbow barely know how to use a bow while me I'm a total boss ( personal record: shot a guy from 91 blocks )

 

In my opinion, some aspects of the crossbow are waaaay too weak, like its explosion radius.

 

You can still get your emp, even if you DO get shot. It takes a second or two for the arrow to detonate, and it usually isn't an instant kill. It has large arc, so limited range and accuracy. The kill radius for the explosion one or two blocks. As a heavy weapon, it can't compare to the law or the demolisher, with their damage and versatility, but it provides many tactical advantages, IF you can use it correctly.
