Raygun vs. Minigun vs. Crossbow?

It all depends on your skill set.
I, personally, am more of a sniper, so I prefer Raygun.
But, if you like automatics, then get the Minigun.
...Honestly, the Crossbow's pretty ****ty regardless.

 

The crossbow is a strange one, some people are good with it, others suck at it. Personally I would pick crossbow with scavenger since ray gun is getting nerfed.

 

im one of those people who is fairly good with crossbow but you have to be fast on your toes to be good with it so its up to your skills.

 

It's a good thing the Ray Gun is getting nerfed. It's so powerful and abused in infect.

Ray Gun = Sniper

Crossbow = Sharpshooter

Minigun = Rusher

Personally, I think Minigun is the best. I feel that I can do good any game mode with that gun.

It depends what gamemode you would like to play with your donator gun and if you get anything with them. All of these guns are known to use ammo quickly so scavenger is a necessity. For Infect, use raygun. Now if you are a sniper and like using a minecraft bow, go crossbow. If you want to spray people to death, minigun.

 

I find this to be sacrilege.
The crossbow is probably the only donor weapon that requires some element of skill.
Therefore I recommend it.

 

You have to be skilled with a bow for Cbow
You have to be skille with a sniper for raygun
Minigun is pretty much a shotgun on crack mixed with an auto.

 

I find flaw with this statement. An insta kill, instant bullet travel, 100% accuracy noscoping, area of effect sniper rifle, with the rate of fire of the disassembler?

Minigun + Scav is the most versatile.
If you can only buy one, get that combo.

 

The splash damage on a Raygun is pathetic. What I'm implying is that you need to have at least decent aim. What I said there was just a "in a nutshell" review of the Raygun.

 

If used as a sniper this would be good, because the raygun's shots aren't snowballs. This means the bullets don't have a hitbox, making it harder to hit people. The problem is that people like to run up and spam it at high speed around corners because the aoe can kill someone in 2 hits. A confined space makes all the difference between sniper and noob, when the raygun is involved... Or so in my opinion.

 

Ray-Gun is getting nerfed?! Why, I don't know why I donate for guns now ,_, law is crap, Ray-Gun will probably be crap, flamer got nerfed so bad no more ghast balls and crossbow, idk I don't have it :/.

 

I would recommend the minigun, as it is the easiest to use, and useful in all gamemodes.

 

Minigun is amazing, just jump in front of all the people and BOOM, nuke.

 

20ks then BOOM out of ammo and wonders why minigun isn't shoot while your being shot to death by m4a1's

 

Crossbow is good, minigun is good, raygun is getting nerfed... So... Yeah, either minigun or crossbow...
