    You speak for many people there but are you going to say melting is not a top player if he was to rage? He would still be top 3 of all time, just someone people would not want to be friends with.

    Stat's do not define the skill of a modern Pro Player as they don't play gungame or FFA and use OP guns in CTF / TDM and infected to boost their stats.

    Serine1002 who has a very similar playing style and skill level to Tupaq was destroyed in a 1v1 with an old War player and I would bet on him being beaten again.

    A true pro is someone that can handle a situation like 3v1 and dont have to camp to Nuke :V Then we got no real pros huh... But today a good player is a player that have a good Map knowledge and know where to camp. Maybe 2.0 will change some of this? Lets just say that no one are a true pro at the moment.

    Now lets not forget that 1v1 skill dont face the 20v20 games, in a 1v1 you stand and use your 1v1 skills like what tallscot did, f5 and such things. I bet he dont do that in a normal server...

    I'm not saying that being an ass decreases someone's skill level, I'm simply stating that being an ass decreases my respect towards them.

    Is it just me or all are all retired war players always so bitter to the modern community? I picture them as old people, saying "back in my day, we didn't have the Ray gun" as in an old person would say "back in my day, we didn't have the Internet." You old hags better get over your sense of juvenoia, your words won't change anything. Things are different now, just accept it.

    I think you are missing a huge chunk of what we are saying. For people like me, chopo and Striker who have been here since mere weeks and months after the server was released we are commenting on how much different the idea of a top player has become since we started. Our versions of Pro players are people like melting, olliesyd, Lord_Roke, not these new players who use raygun and minigun all the time.

    Not at all. I am in no way saying that the current players are bad at all, a point which I stress at the beginning of the thread. It is to compare the differences of the old and modern player and how much they have changed over time.

    I agree. Not to point fingers or anything, but that J**e* (figure out the *'s) guy seems to treat everyone with disrespect except people who spend 40 hours every week playing a game (also not to point fingers, I honestly have nothing wrong with that). This happens a lot in WarZ also...people just don't know how to accept that they aren't "good" and either are duushbaegs or donate for 150 levels with experience (not to be hypocritical or anything, but honestly I did donate for 50 of my levels.)

    Look i was gonna write a story to illustrate my point but i dont have time.....

    ive played since 2012
    war was fun back then, well balanced and new players actually had a chance

    war has degraded from a piece of art to a piece of sh*t


    so unbalanced. get rid of the minigun and all the level donations.


    war shouldve died a long time ago.

    i still love it

    but for someone who is not experienced it is just plain frustrating......

    WHO WANTS TO JOIN A SERVER AND GET KILLED RELENTLESSLEY BY PEOPLE HOLDING A DIAMOND AND WEARING DIAMOND ARMOR AND THEN YOU GET CALLED A D*CK IF YOU HAPPEN TO KILL THEM AND NOBODY GIVES A SH*T IF YOU NEED HELP WITH SOMETHING OR HAVE A QUESTION AND IF YOU GET INFECTED HOW BOUT DIE 50 TIMES TO A RAY NOOB OH AND GUNGAME? HOW BOUT DIE BEFORE YOU CAN EVEN AIM BECAUSE SOMEONE IS USING STOPPING POWER??? TDM? WE WONT GIVE YOU A GUN THAT CAN REALLY DO ANYTHING TO THOSE CAMPERS UNTIL YOU BECOME ONE YOURSELF.

    I have a few points to make

    1) Another reason Bolton only has a little amount of kills is because he's trying to get an extremely high kdr. I see him all the time hopping servers each time he dies, searching for infect maps to spam ray gun or minigun or whatever to get high kills. Whenever someone starts so kill him commonly, he leaves the server for a new one. That's the only reason he has a high kdr. Care to back that up on 'elite' @MR_EVIL_OVERLORD ?

    2) It seems every newly considered 'pro' on war usually only plays tdm or ctf. Every single time I'm playing with rb5po or now known as V6tie (or something like that), he says 'ew' in the chat, then hops to another server. I see that commonly with tupaq as well, Serine is one of the only exceptions.

    3) I'm honestly tired of all these people thinking they're pro, elite, incredible, whatever they want to call it, just because they can nuke 3 times in one game with an extremely OP weapon. iEddie thinks he's good because he can spray minigun/crossbow every single round. I'm not going to consider anybody good unless I see proof of them doing something actually skilled for once. For example, nuke with a dragunov and magnum with no armor and no scavenger. And before you say it's impossible, I've done it on my alt. Cross_Flame, though I have no proof, which is hypocritical of me but that's not the point.

    Thanks for mentioning me.

    I don't even care if they have donor weapons. As long as they don't have an obnoxious ego, understand at least 25% of my jokes and act relatively human, I'm fine with them. It does irritate me however when people compare KDRs. I play for fun, not to camp.
