I nominate MR_EVIL_OVERLORD for mod

I asked Evil before, but he said this: Being a moderator requireres a lot of activity and pressure. I want to keep it on being an overlord.
So, it is up to him.

I totally appreciate your kind thoughts @Agent1431 and I do appreciate thinking of me this way.

1) Fanboys bombard me with messages in game, on the forums, and I don't see the benefit of going on TS when I play and I like to talk to my inner circle of peeps and keep it small.

2) I do have team speak & Skype, but I don't use them (occasionally, I am online just to see what is going on). I don't need a ten year old yelling in my ear as I nuke.

3) The Mod lifespan is of 2-3 months isn't worth the time for me. I consider my time an investment and so I use it to obtain my personal objectives. I'm not a follower unless I am on a good team where I can switch between a leader and follower role. I like this game and want to continue to enjoy it, without dealing with the minutia. I've spoken to most Mods that were fired or quit and they do not paint a very nice picture about the behind the scenes work of being a Mod.

4) I'm extremely competitive and would rather volunteer at a homeless shelter than be a Mod. My time is more valuable there than here where the systematic way the mod program is run and game development would irk me to no end.

In closing, I'm too smart to be a Mod but I respect them for the job they do. Especially @SpeedBreaker one of my favs of all time and @Lord_Roke for his grit at sticking too it.

I'm an Overlord and we walk our own less traveled path.

That would be much appreciated for time requirements and the staff hierarchy. Not so much for dealing with players. Mods aren't supposed to be bad cops. XD

 

I wouldn't play bad cop with people but I would with changing the culture.

 

That's should be much appreciated. That's what I tried to do too. (̲̅ ͡◥▶ ͜ʖ ͡◀◤) I told stories in staff chat and annoyed the living Rock out of Roke. :V Mod life gets stagnant if nobody shakes things up.

 

I would analyze the current state and propose new ways to work more efficiently with a collaborative team approach.

Why would you want to be mod when you could be a developer?

Women love developers. Plus y'know, devs usually get paid pretty good
