    Based on your logic, ray shouldn't be debuffed because that would be unfair.

    And if you look at Encore, zombies win once out of a hundred of times. Or, this Map i remember when i played with roke and more. We(the zombies) got spawncamped even doe 50% of everyone in game was zombies. Now that is also unfair... 50% indexets and spawncamped by 10 rayguns... then something is wrong.

    But then we look at Killhouse (there are more examples that i cant come up with huh) then the zombies are way too op...

    I'd be surprised if you did, because that's almost impossible.

    Other guns were far, far better choices.
    It made absolutely no sense to use.

    Naw it wasnt as hard as you think...
    Raygun contest. Arkaden was my favorite Map, easy speednuke. Sometimes 10ks even with first 3 shots in this long tunel, you know? And then some other nukes... maybe it was good but i was better back then

    Don't think so, but aaaanyway. Ray is really good on beaver. and other maps.

    You do realize that there's this thing called other guns? If you HAVE to use the Ray Gun to play infect, and can't rely on another weapon, or just being the zombies, then that's on you, not the fact that a pay to win gun was nerfed.

    Yeah, but the ray gun is meant for infect and otherwise, it would be a wasted $5. I spent $5 on this and I expect a really good weapon for at least one game mode.

    My personal opinion on this:
    I really don't like the nerf. Yes, it's great that zombies have more of a chance, however, me being a person to suicide a lot, I'd rather get Ray Spammed, than be a survivor with this low fire rate gun. I personally would rather have it revamped.

    Now the staff can go change the amount of kills a zombie gets per hit back to 2.

    So, I think I made a small conclusion of this thread.

    1. People want to buff the ray, though the ray is already way too powerful. I really, really do not think that this would make infect fair.

    2. Someone said, that when zombies get buffed to get 2 shots, it is too OP. Well, it kinda is, but at least make it that it is surviving 1 shot with armor, and 2 shot with superarmor. This would make it more fair.
    Also, buffing the zombies with a little bit of healt might let them survive a ray shot.

    3. Ray is still $5, as Jaetpack already said above. Though, looking at the other guns used infect, having ray is still way better. As using minigun in a spot, it can easily be grenades. Using law might be too slow, and flamethrow and cbow will not work. Having a buff of the zombies might just make ray gun a little less op, but im coming to a same point now.

    4. The War maps. I haven't seen one if those in this discussion ( except for Encore and Killhouse ).
    Having OP spots in War maps, like encore, make it impossible for the zombies to get up there, if the ray gun keeps 1 shotting them before they can reach it. 1 place is c4 able, but the spot on the glowstone and the iron bars is OP, as it is almost impossible to grenade it, and definetely impossible to place a c4, as vanilla doesn't let us place c4's in glowstone on iron bars.

    Now I talked about encore, I'm coming back to killhouse2 infect. Having this map in infect, might be a challenge for high levels players with miniguns and ray guns, but the low level players ( players without op fast shooting high damage killing guns ), can't survive the map, as they do not have a spot except for that corner that is spammed with freaking 100 grenades at once. Having no minigun or ray gun really makes this almost impossible to win for the high level players and the low level players.

    So basically, we agree that only the zombies should be buffed, not the ray gun being debuffed.

    I really do think that there are 2 options:
    1. Buffing zombies
    2. Removing op spots in all mc-war maps.

    I just tried out the ray and it is terrible the lag/delay between shots is bad.

    Really don't like this nerf. It makes the game feel slow and awkward. If the Ray had the same blast radius as the Law that would be great.

    Advantage goes too far to the zombies who have
    1) nades
    2) speed
    3) molotovs
    4) ray blast that is too slow and inaccurate
    5) C4
    6) marathon

    Seriously hate when the weapons are tinkered with especially when made worse.

    What other guns were messed up?

    With fewer and fewer new players logging in the game should be fun and enjoyable or more people will leave.

    C4 not molotov. Molotovs/flashbangs dont work as indected...

    Minigun is still so dam op for some maps though.
