    So I got Teamspeak for my mac. And When I got all set up, I clicked on puttys name and a tab popped up and it said "putty". I don't know how to speak to people, so I just clicked on other peoples names and nothing happened. So, how do I talk?

    I also spoke into the Microphone and no one said anything and nothing happened

    You have to doubleclick a chanell like "Room".
    There's no password and no talkpower needed.
    If you got thr correct setup of your mic. you should be able to talk.
    If you want to join someones chanell but there's a password on it, double click the name of the person which has a mark which contains a C in it.
    A text chat should pop up, and you can type the message you want to say, like for example you ask for the password, if the person wants you in the chanell, he/she will tell you the password, if he/she/they dont want you in the chanell, you're propably just getting ignored or they say something to deny you.

    Some channels have a talk power outside of your range. Examples are afk and lobby. You won't be able to talk there. @Sn4x5 covered the rest.
