What the. I think you know you are being unreasonable here, right? We should not be a police force for the world. That has already proven to be a terrible idea (see: Iraq invasion -> ISIS). But that does not mean that we cannot participate internationally because we don't have an unnecessarily large military. Besides, we should prioritize peaceful diplomatic action, then economic action (sanctions), then finally military if all else fails.

When did Isis take over? When Obama decided to leave the middle east, not when we were there. Also looking through American history you will see that America only enters war when we are provoked. Good examples are WW2 and the 9/11.

The mistake was going there in the first place (btw, Sanders voted against the war in Iraq). Also, 9/11 was not a coordinated effort by the Iraqi government, so no, we were not "provoked" by Iraq. In fact, nobody involved in the attack was from Iraq - they were mostly from our good ally, Saudi Arabia. Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hijackers_in_the_September_11_attacks

We went in to fight terrorism. I gotta get sleep though... Arguing politics is fun, but as seen above, there is never a winner just a trail of arguments.

No, we went in because there were claims that they had "weapons of mass destruction" which were false. Either way, it was an irresponsible blunder and nobody considers it anything else. You cannot fight a belief, and going to war in a country just creates more terrorism.

We haven't even left the middle east l m a o. America still has some troops in Afghanistan and people in Iraq.
America does not enter war when we are 'provoked' unless you are not counting the innumerable times that America has gone into Latin American/Gulf Coast countries, overthrown their democratically elected leader (i.e. Haiti, or Allende in Chile) where America was clearly not provoked.

Also as for that crap about Bernie not being able to 'stand up for himself' I suggest you take a look at this video:

I think Bernie does a great job standing up for himself to excessive corporatism and soulless people like Allan Greenspan.

@NomNuggetNom ikr. I watched the Republican debate on Tuesday and it was ridiculous. All the candidates promised to defeat 'radical islam' and I kept wondering how they were going to defeat a theology with bombs especially since it sure as hell didn't work the first time we tried it.

You are calling me an idiot and you can't even get your facts right... Fairly immature. You can't call people idiots for politics, you may as well argue what is the best religion. Every side has pros and cons. Socialism has its pros and cons. So please don't be arrogant and go around calling people idiots.

Finland represents .44% of the worlds economy, the USA represents 17-20% A huge gap. As I pointed out earlier, European socialist countries are lest dependent of trade and manufacturing.

    LMFAO the irony

    I'm 15 in 9th grade btw

And I seriously don't think you know what you are talking about

"The US never enters wars unprovoked"

The Iraq war was one of our biggest mistakes of all time and was based on suspicion. This lead to Al Qaeda, which further lead to ISIS.
The Vietnam war was also unprovoked and was caused by our government not wanting communists. How did that turn out? Not well either.

You idiot.... Usa has a bigger population... check your own facts...
And... about education..... the difference is in the amount of succes /hours spent on learning per day. If the students in finland were using the exat same amount of time on shcool, they would be far better educated than south koreans. The Usa isn't even close to finland at those list anyway.

Actually, you went in to kill basically a single guy (which somehow took your intelligence agency 5 years even though you also knew he was responsible in less than 2 days) and, because you removed Osama from power and subsequently disbanded his officers, your armies basically paved the way for ISIS to rise up and easily take the land Osama once held.

ISIS is the direct result of American militarism in those countries, and nearly every other politician (with the exception of Bernie Sanders) is all for continuing the war there.

    HA!
    Funny joke.
    Ohwait, you're serious.

Dude, TYT are essentially Fox news for Liberals.

Those are some pretty impressive moving goalposts you've got there sir.

No, they're just biased, they do basically no research, and they push their own versions of reality without any regard to fairness and balance. TYT aren't a real news source as much as they are a show about pushing opinions.

    But, I digress.

... They have said its impossible for them to double-check all facts. And i'm not trying to tell you that they are right on every issue. What i'm trying to say is that they are not trying to mislead people. They have no economical interests.

You keep proving my point... America can not be socialist because of its population difference and economic structure. I am not saying socialism is bad or does not work in Finland. Socialism works well and is efficient in Finland. The problem is the USA is founded upon capitalism. We fought the revolutionary war to lower taxes, and believe it or not the USA has one of the lowest tax rates in the world while Finland taxes the fourth highest. Finland has an unemployment rate of nearly 10% while the USA stands at 5.5%. So arguing socialism will lower unemployment has just been blown out of the water. Also the highest unemployment rate in the USA has only surpassed Finland's CURRENT unemployment rate once, and that was during the great depression when the entire world was affected. In recap I do not believe socialism would be good for the USA and we should elect a candidate more center stage, not a candidate that is on either end of the stage, as in far left or right.
