And in out twisted mind, we figured out that there is a chance we might be able to excel in the real world!!!! But then we figure out that war is our life and eventually we return!     The nukes launch instantly, but due to the connection there is still a extremly small time frame to get killed before the nuke launches. You can impossibly do this on purpose though so it shouldn't be much of a problem.
