    (READ ALL) So about 80% of the PvP Survival community including myself is excited about the new PvP Survival Reset. Well I am excited and not excited at the same time and I'll tell you all why. I am excited because we get a nice fresh start. I am not excited because it is most likely going to be 1.9, therefore You will be able to click every 1-2 seconds with a sword according to the "Recharge". So You guys can forget about "Jitter Clicking". Now 1.9 ruins a lot more than Jitter clicking, Which I am not going to get into it. But If you ask the Real PvPers in PvP Survival what version is the best for PvP. They will no doubt say "The 1.7 version". Now we all understand 1.9 will add more things. Which is very cool, But This is a PvP Gamemode, Not singleplayer where you don't pvp against other players and use new blocks, Shields, And Arrows that have Effects. From what I've seen in the 1.9 snapshots, 1.9 Will absolutely ruin pvp and it will be unenjoyable to us PvPers. Now on the good side, We will have more items and blocks, Which most PvPers do not care about. Now I would like to state something. If 1.9 had 1.7 PvP. I would absolutely love it. But at the moment people are threatening to leave PvP Survival if they add 1.9 (Including myself).     Most people will update to 1.9.

    New players won't be able to find us if we are 1.7

    Ah, I see. Because if players don't find Brawl, Then Chaploo gets no money. Lol...

    I would love 1.9, but with the anti-jitter pvp removed. Everything else can stay 1.9 in my opinion. I think 1.9 will be great apart from that.

    I think 1.9 would be a great option, with the new mobs and gameplay, but the PvP isn't the best for players who like the jitter click tecnique. I think if we had the 1.9 mobs and gameplay with the 1.7 PvP (which is most likely not an option) that would be that best way to go in my opinion.

    They could update it to 1.9 but they just have to disable some things. You know where you can't craft an enderchest? Well, why won't we just do that with shields and stuff. Also, like I said a lot already, there is a command to turn of the recharge. If they just put that down in the spawn chunks we can just jitter click.

    So you're a fan of not being able to blochit anymore and to use shields? And to be shot with Debuff arrows every second? Alright whatever <_<

    You can use the 1.9 snapshot :stuck_out_tongue: You will be sorry if you do.

    The PvPers don't like how we cant Blockhit anymore, and We can't jitterclick anymore. We don't like the fact we have to use a worthless shield instead of blockhitting, And ontop of that. Goodluck pvping, Noobs will have debuff arrows with Slowness, Posion, Instant Damage, Etc. And don't get me started on the worthless "Lingering Potions"

    Yeah, I don't really like to block hit anyways, so it doesn't really affect me.

    I see where you're coming from. Here's the good part you guys might like, Me and @NomNuggetNom were talking in PvP Survival about No cheat. He said that they can edit the 1.9 pvp and make it better. But what gets me mad, Is that Staff said that they would do that in the 1.8 update. THEY NEVER DID. They made pvp worse with the worthless NoCheat+.

    Well. I am in two minds about this. It is plain that PvP was the best in 1.7 by a long way... but for the server, it has to keep updating with everyone else. Some of the features in 1.9 get me mad, its like they have modded Minecraft, except this is no MOD - Its Vanilla. I have tried 1.9, some things are good, some bad, but I am afraid you can't have a 1.7 server while 1.9 is the current version. It will cause PvP to become even less popular, and will result in people sitting at spawn waiting for a 1v1 and no one will come because they are using a 1.9 client, or can't find the server in server lists etc. I personally think the best option is to go with 1.9 and for the Admins and Coders to ACTUALLY fix it up to make it like 1.7 and take out all the horrible things added in 1.9.
    Agreed. They didn't fix 1.8 (1.8 isn't a huge an issue as 1.9 is so hopefully 1.9 should get fixed). And NCP... worst thing ever. If you've ever played WarZ you'll know how bad NCP is, it literally pulls you back whenever your hit... horrible. PvP isn't as bad but NCP is by no means the way to go.

    They've been saying they would remove NCP. THEY NEVER DO. @NomNuggetNom REMOVE IT!!! PVP IS CRAP :frowning: If they remove NCP pvp will be good. (Until 1.9 is released)

    The question is that Brawl isnt a PvP server.
    It's just a server. Its job is to update to 1.9.
    If you wanna play real PvP, just dont play in Brawl.
    You can see that all PvP servers that are great for PvP still are in 1.7

    I jitter alot and 1.9 pvp ruins for me. I think we should just keep to 1.7 but new players wont find brawl and lose funds. I will do 1.7 or keep it to 1.8. If you are allowed you should keep it to 1.8 and 1.9

    If you really want a pvp server don't play brawl. Even brawl pvp in 1.7 was not as good as other 1.7 servers.
