Rant - Kill Trades

    Honestly, this is just to get some ager out, but also hear you all's opinions on this.
    Anyways, Kill Trading. Where 2 people shoot at each other around the same time and kill each other. In pretty much every other FPS and in real life, bullets shoot faster than a toddler throwing his sippy-cup at the wall. This and lag are currently the only reasons why Mc-War makes my blood pressure go up (Oh yea and the fking shotguns on FFA). Like increasing the bullet speeds by a tiny bit will not effect the lag of the game. Even if it did, who cares, the game has already achieved my medal for, "Laggiest Custom Gamemode". It's won this 2 years straight! Sometime I will mail Brawl a trophee (Most likely my monitor with a punch hole in it). Back to Kill Trades. If kill trades were removed, I'd have easily 10% more nukes, 1k+ kills and -1k deaths. Welp, I feel better (for now until Brawl screws something else up :v).

    Well, Brawl didn't really screw it up because it isn't a Brawl feature, I guess the snowball bullet features are. But this can be easily fixed by removing the snowball in the air when the player dies, but as you stated bullets go really fast, then that would just mean my idea wouldn't work and the snowball bullets would have to have 999 speed...

    That's like literally the definition of a trade.
    And either way, it's skill-based. If you don't want to trade, don't get shot. It's just as bad when you die without killing the person, albeit a bit more aggravating.

    Also a solution. Setting bullet speed to 999 would lag the map and crash the Server. I just suggested to increse the speed by a small margin, which would lower the likely hood of a kill trade, but I like your idea 100% better.
    Didn't mean to put more kills. Derp. And whether it be skill based and avoidable, it logistically shouldn't happen. Sure it's my fault that I didn't dodge in time, but is my fault bullets travel like they bred with snails?

    I you shoot a gun and someone else shoots a gun at you but you kill them first the other person still shot.

    How would removing kill trades some way (I really have bo clue how; increasing bullet speed wouldn't do much) get you more nukes and kills? It makes no sense. Unless you often have a 20ks and you kill trade with simeone and you kill them after you die, nothing will change. Also, what's the issue with them? What do you have against them? It's just tou and one ither person having good reflexes and killing eachother. It's just the way the game works. That's like removing EMP's for zombies because they give the zombies a higher chance to kill people. It's just the way it works.

    I actually quite like this idea. But increase the speed by a very small margin. That way it is still not too hard to get away from all of those sippy cups.

    It makes a lot of sense actually. As weird as it may seem to you, I die VERY often to this on high kill streaks. The less you die from a kill trade, the more potential kills you get (why I said Kills). As I said above, I UNDERSTAND THAT IT'S SKILL BASED! I am simply critiquing the fact that this SHOULDN'T physically be possible, but also adding that it's the reason I lose a lot of killstreaks.

    Although I think a little bit slower bullets kind of have a purpose, considering that the Ray Gun travels at like light speed. If all the other bullets were like that then Ray Gun would be considered weaker.

    To be honest, I don't mind kill trading at all. Furthermore, If I'm on with friends on team speak, it can be a bit amusing, kill trading. However, your idea seems good though.

    Increasing the bullet speed would make the bullets seem off target take practiceZ for example there bullets were only faster by a margin yet they were broken, also it's minecraft do you accept cramp in the leg everytime you die to make things more realistic, and how would increasing bullet velocity help kill trades

    Player 1 shoots Player 2, Player 2 dies before he can shoot. The problem is that the bullet is slow and if you kill Player 2 their bullet is still in the air so it hits Player 1. If you made the bullets faster then the Player 2 would die faster without him shooting and getting Player 1. (If that made sense)
