Stomper doesn't work on full diamond?

Jeez, that is something that I had no knowledge of...

So essentially stomper is useless if they make it to the feast?

 

100% agree gladeator ha sbeen long needed a buff, and yes stomper is hasn't been working very well recently.

 

Stomper is perfectly fine. I took out a team of 6 single handedly and only had to stomp 4 of them. Fought the rest with a iron sword and chestplate. You just need to use the map to your advantage. Ravines, inclines, water, etc. Nature in pvp goes a long way, trust me.

 

The time in the arena needs to be longer, maybe around 6 minutes or so. If there was unlimited time I could see someone trolling the mods or something.

 

No, people would just sit up there and wait for the timer to cool down. Or in my case use it as a team with endermage or something... I think the timer anywhere above 2 minutes is excessive and completely biased.

 

Honestly I have never been gladiatored or been able to use it... but I can say that it shouldn't be able to abuse it. Remember when you use it, it takes two people away from the Arena and far into the air. no one can break in or out. Its a Overpowered getaway Technic

 

I have played the HG games for years, I am not complaining I am giving ideas to help the kit get rebuffed. Also I know every kit by heart and how they work. I wasn't able to use it because it was broken at the time, given my experience in the game itself I have plenty of rights to complain if I choose too. Now to the point... I have never been in a fight longer than 3 minutes nor seen one when it is in a small area as the Gladiators arena. The point of the kit is to get away from his team... not until one of you kills each other. That would defeat the purpose of the kit, you are TRYING to kill him BEFORE the time is up. Not every kit is to the death, Remember that.

 

Try endermage if you're having issues with teams, dig down 10-30 blocks and mage them down in a 1x1 hole. If you're lucky you'll get both which makes it a 1v1v1.

 

If you want the best way to anti team, tower up if there is no mage on other team. They come up seperatly most of time. or try making a tunnel and hiding in the wall. small stuff to confuse people

 

We were actually just talking about a Gladiator change today, you'll have to wait and see what we did :^] but I think it meets your concerns with it now.

 

No I either end it fast or I run off to fight another day. Its a force of habit. Besides you aren't being forced to kill each other. The point of the kit is just to separate them

 

Well, I think you should be forced to fight that person until the death (with a reasonable usage of the kit for teams, groups of 2+ players). The problem with it currently is that players can stall out the fight and let their teammates come and help them once the time is up. I think a force end to the fight in which at least one player dies would be a good solution, so long as the kit couldn't be spammed on every single person.
