    Everyone knows this, there are plenty of useless kits that nobody has ever heard of or even knows exists.
    I don't want to make this a long post, but I want to make a point.
    If your thinking about creating a kid by submitting an idea, Brawl will deny it and Ill guarantee you this.
    You have a better chance at requesting a combination of kits, its when they combine 3 terrible kits that are useless into a even more halfway useless kit. They did it with Archer, Hunter, and Fletcher.
    Brawl should know that the only way you get players coming back is by making updates and getting new kits so players will buy them. Right now, Brawl won't even get rid of the terrible kits. For example, some terrible kits in my opinion that nobody will ever use is: Vulture, Woolymorph, Spellmaster, Spectre, Soulstealer, Rhino, Reaper,Nightlock, Neo, Magma, LifeLine, Hadies, Cuddler, and Acrobat.
    If you could before viewing Brawls buycraft to the get description, could you describe what all of those do?
    Maybe you can, but then your really smart.

    Brawl won't get rid of useless kits that nobody will ever buy or play except if they get it by going surprise or if its free. Some (smart) people, need to put there brain power with other (smart) people to come up with good ideas for a combination kit. Because, if you guys want an exciting new kit coming out, or even better if you want to be the one that had the idea, we need some of the useless kits to be removed. Honestly, I'd be fine if they would be retired. I honestly don't care about any of those kits because they are completely useless. Maybe some of them, 2 or 3, you might find one good situation to use it in every, I don't know, 200 games it might come in handy.



    The main reason I made this post is because I want new kits so I can have fun again playing HG. Anyways, Im not gonna be playing anytime soon because Im sick of all the useless kits that nobody will ever use.

    you obviously don't know how thinks work around here at the Brawl servers.

    other than that, I think this is a fantastic idea and I don't even play HG. Always is fun to have new kits to mess around with, but only if they're actually creative and bring something new to the meta.

    The reason they Haven't done this yet is because they would have to give refunds to players and a lot of those players bought kits at McPvP, Making Brawl lose money. Yes I do think they should combine kits and just give them the combined kit. Also if you want to do that just make a post about it and give a few good examples to get things going.

    Here's what MCPVP did when they retired a kit:

    they allowed the players that had the kit to keep the kit and took it off the market / combined it with another kit

    Its simple, Brawl just needs to let the players that have the kits keep them and retire them.
    Yes. The least we can do is attempt to make forum posts about combining kits like how the combined Archer with Hunter, Fletcher, and ofc Archer. People just have to come up with ideas and post them so Brawl might look at them.

    Nom, I love you. I loved you at MCPVP. But seriously can you take this under consideration, I think it's a great idea.

    Me, Blue, Totom, Ala and Turmac have been working on lots of ideas to buff these kits and hopefully make them not so useless. We see it as better if these kits are given chances to be better instead of just flat out removing them. We read lots of suggestions on kit ideas and usually try to integrate them if the kit is just horrible to begin with.

    That's what I also said. The chance to decide to combine them or add buffs. Have you thought about combining any?

    Possibly something like crafter and backpacker, though nothing much more than that.

    how about Backpack crafter and gravedigger.

    Items you get from people go into the Backpack.

    I love the anchor/neo combination but Cuddler and Lifeline are such a useless kit I don't even care to know what they do.

    Lifeline is actually pretty op. even though no one really cares about it. For example in nosoup, you can just use Lifeline on your opponent, which gives you regeneration for, I believe, 30 seconds and your opponent will get damage during that time frame (I believe the damage interval is the same as the wither effect, so you'll get 0.625 the damage of Posion, which translates to 0.5 hearts per two second: http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Status_effect), so the opposing player will get 7,5 hearts of damage + you will gain 6 hearts. Lifeline can be used on multiple enemies at the same time and can be reused on an enemy after 60 seconds.
    Please correct me if my information on this kit is wrong, but I believe that's how it works.

    I used to use lifeline, but I think they nerfed it so you can only use it on one person at a time.
    I came up with the crafter/backpacker idea, and it would be cool if adventurer was added to that as well, creating a strong kit focused on surviving in the wild.

    Maybe if you attach a healing lifeline to a teamate they get the healing effect and get an extra buff (speed 1, strength 1, etc) for 15 seconds. This buff could be disabled on no-soup though if need be.

    Maybe you should combine Lifeline and Warder. You can attach a lifeline to someone so you both get Resistence I, Speed I and Regeneration I for 10 seconds (therefore the Array kit becomes unnecessary and should be removed).
    Another idea: You could fusion Monster and Hades, or Tank and Grenadier and perhaps also Soulstealer and Spectre.
    Edit: Maybe also Rhino and Hulk? Even though Rhino is pretty useless.

    I agree with all of this, except it should be increased to 30 seconds and all of the buffs should be tier 1. Maybe a buff that could be applied to array is that the buff only applies to your team you create in a area. It only provides regen 1 and it is only in a small area, but it lasts 1 minute and can be used for more than one person.

    Got to agree here. I hardly see anyone use the kits you stated.

    Combining kits imo won't do much, you need new and exciting, game changing kits. Add back the old cookie monster, assassin, and endermage, add new tower kits and trap kits, because when HG was successful, half the people did one of those two strats, and don't listen to the people only pvping that complain. On that subject, remove the border, if HG has a chance, the border has to go. The point is to be able to use strategy to win, and be creative. Having a wall removes every bit of that. Think of the good of the game, not ending servers quicker, because it won't matter when nobody is playing. HG is dying/dead due to Brawl/MCPvP only listening to the soupers. Allow multiple strategies and don't force everybody to the middle. On that topic, maybe remove the pit too.

    Also, consider having more free kits, and good ones, this will bring in more players and eventually some will donate.

    Let me check the two year old MCPVP forums for kit ideas:

    Some 2013-2014 kit ideas on the mcpvp forums:

    Idea 1:

    Kit Name: Magnet

    Abilities: Magnet will recieve 10 Redstone Repeaters. These repeaters, when placed, redirect anyone else within 100 blocks' compass to the repeater. The repeater will register on their compass as the last player you've hit (If you haven't hit anyone, the name will be yours). Only when the repeater is found and destroyed, will everyone in the 100 block radius' compasses will go back to normal.

    Why it's useful:
    -Someone looted the feast and coming after you? Plant a repeater underground above a pit of lava, so when they dig down they'll dig into the lava! Counter: Never dig down. :wink:
    -Plant a repeater a few blocks underground below a tower. Return to the tower and make sure they don't notice you. They will find the repeater, and upon digging back up, your Stomper friend too! Counter: Always be sure if somebody's in that tower above you!
    -Secretly place the repeater near one of your enemies, they book it and run as far away as you can. Everyone else will go after them instead of you! Counter: Find the repeater and break it before anyone has a chance to find you.

    I'm unsure as to how this would work against Spies or Assassins, but it seemed like a pretty tactical and useful kit.

    Idea 2:

    Kit Slime
    Hit them, and instead of treating it like a normal hit, instead you hit their OPPOSITE SIDE, thus reversing the knockback! and pulling them back, sticking them back to you!

    EXTRA

    Snowballs, arrows, eggs, etcetera, PULL THEM IN!
    I suppose this would make MORE towerers but still, the pit thing totally ruined them xD


    Pros: Hit people to bring them towards you, like if your chasing someone, they'll never escape! Because you can't escape from yo mother...

    Cons: No real PVP advantage, but you can prevent people from escaping!
    Another con is that the sprint-combo thing is stopped, but it's amazing to kill people by making them go back to you!

    Please consider this kit, it's pretty balanced I must say :>

    If MCPVP wants a good, solid, easy to say description:

    Kit slime, hit people to reverse the knockback and stick them to you!

    2ND IDEA!

    You start off with a slimeball. Hit someone with a slimeball, to do KNOCKBACK 2, except you'll be hitting them on the opposite side of where you're facing, which means they'll go BACK INTO YOU!
    It does 3/4 of their hearts! Which means, if they have 10 hearts, 3/4's of that is 2 and a 1/2 hearts! So you will do that much to them. Sadly, the power keeps going down, and you'll soon just do 1/2 a heart, unless they soup, which can be devastating!

    Idea 3:

    Demonbane
    Wither the land to waste.

    Starting Items
    -1x Compass
    -1x Nether Star

    Ability
    The Demonbane can right click his/her Nether Star to enter a period of concentration (cannot move or attack) of 5 seconds. Every second, he/she will convert the blocks in his 5 block radius. He/she converts:
    -Grass, Dirt, and Sand-----> Soul Sand
    -Roses-------------------->Red Mushrooms
    -Flowers------------------->Brown Mushrooms
    -Tall Grass, Dead Bushes---->Nether Wart

    Advantages
    -Soul Sand provides slow movement for enemies and [could we add this] no fall damage to any Wither.
    -You can collect Mushrooms to convert into Mushroom soup.
    -While on Soul Sand, you get Regeneration II.
    -No cooldown!

    Disadvantages
    -The 5 seconds allows you to be vulnerable, and you can't do anything about it.
    -Soul Sand slows you down too!

    Strategies
    -Have teammates watch your back as you wither the land for your safety!
    -Create a safe area so you can tower up without fear of fall damage!
    -Get Mushroom soup at the start when there are no jungles, deserts, or swamps in sight!
    -Team with other Withers to benefit equally!
    Note
    -The ability will not work on the feast platform.
    -You cannot use this kit during the two minutes of invincibility.

    I like the idea of buffing kits to what they originally were. We've been working on making certain kits much better like reaper and spellmaster.

    As for the border, it's tough to find a good balance with that because it seems anyway we do it is bad for the gameplay. Letting it run forever is a bad thing considering people could camp and hog the server for hours on end, but also just forcing everyone into a pit isn't a good idea either. I think what we have now with a 50 x 50 border and no time limit is fine.

    When HG was thriving, people won with traps, towers, and pvping. What happened was the pvping community influenced the staff to much and it became more geared to them with kits, the pit, etc. The trappers and towerers, half the community left, and it went downhill. Now that trapping and towering was harder, new players had no chance to win, as vets would easily kill them, and it was hard to trap or tower. Also, the traps and towers gave a challenge for the pvpers. Now they can just sit around and wait for people to be forced in. It is too geared to the pvpers and is dying because of it. Slowly the pvpers leave and here we are now.

    The point of HG is that it could be long, it doesn't matter if it goes long because if you limit it there will eventually be nobody waiting to play. The 50v50 ruins two of the main strats, which were the most fun for many people, and makes it not a challenge for a PvPer. HG was never about the pvpers, that was one play style, and now that it is the one style, people are leaving.

    Now it went from a challenge with many ways to win, to a place where the pvpers just need to wait, and its not a challenge for them, so nobody is having as much fun. It's been dying for a year, something needs to change.
