There are some problems I've been experiencing on build lately and I think that there a couple of solutions to fix it. Sometimes, if not often, servers crash and maps cannot load on the other servers fast enough(solution: speed up that delay so patience isn't lost). The second problem is that some people like to crash the servers on purpose and lag it and cause trouble. If redstone was disabled on build I think that lag wont be as prevalent as before, making it possible solution. Third idea is just to add maybe 2 more build servers. Lastly in global chat gets way to annoying and distracts me a lot(i could just turn off my chat but i need to communicate to others). The solution to this is a bit complicated but I'm going to try to be brief. First have a 3 second delay between each global msg one can give. Second if there is someone using caps and/or spamming, there would be a thing similar to a ban hammer except it would just mute them for 5 minutes(for a first time punishment) 10 mintes for the next, and so on.
Again this is all my opinion but i think we can improve build. Leave comments if you agree with my ideas or have ideas of your own.

Adding 2 more servers is a bad idea, because Brawl pays for the servers, and 2 more servers for really no reason isn't worth it. Its usually 2 servers that are empty and one is full.

Redstone is pretty important to builds tbh, disabling it will be annoying for people who don't abuse.

Maps can't load on servers fast enough because I think it is trying to save progress, but yeah good idea.

I like the last bits besides the ban hammer. I believe there is something implemented rn. I have always hated that thing because it kept thinking I'm 'spamming' when I wasn't. I got muted by that thing for 1 and a half min before :c

I didn't say have a ban hammer directly but have a better and improved muting system that would spot the obvious spam and not like every single one.

That's not at all necessary because we have staff members. If the chat is getting out of hand, you can always use /chatreport or /report and a staff member will come as soon as possible.

The few second mutes players get is to prevent chat flood. Waiting 2-3 seconds before entering the message can help you avoid those "Please wait 5 seconds" messages. If you're someone who types messages like:
    Player: Hey
    Player: How
    Player: Are
    'Please slow down"
    Player: You

Try to avoid doing that because it is considered chat flood. If you're just a fast typer, enter the message 2-3 seconds after your last message and you should be fine.

No offense to your ideas but, the delayed chat is already a thing and if it were to be a 3 second delay in each global message presumably this would cause a lot of lag. And like @Skylivia said you can just /report if someone is spamming but, ninety precent of the time there is always a moderator or Junior Moderator on the solve the problem.

better idea is to bring back the toggle global chat on and off commands
also redstone can't be turned off, that is too many peoples entertainment, I myself enjoy it.
Idk about the practicality of the other stuff most of it is not a usual problem

    • Adding more MCBuild servers would cause the building community to be split even more than it is currently, which isn't good for the serverbase. MinecraftBuild is more than just a singleplayer world where you can build with plugins, you can also come on to interract with others and I feel that would be worsened by having 5 servers.
    • A permission node to /stoplag is currently being considered for MOD+, so that can be used when the server is having lag issues. (The commands clears entities and disables laggy server processes, such as redstone)
    • Chat delays aren't a solution, and merely just an annoyance in my opinion. However, I would fully support adding back in /sg true/false, depending on if you want to see global chat. Maybe that's something we will see again in a future update?
