Idea C4 Explosives

    Pretty self explanatory. However, these are much better C4 explosives.

    C4 in the form of a Lever can be placed down.
    C4 does extreme amounts of damage, 175 if directly right on top of it, it decays down the further away you are. It decrees to a maximum of 100 damage. It also has a range of 10 blocks
    There is a 5% chance of finding these in Zone 5, 8% in zone 6, they only come in one.
    Upon this happening, EVERYBODY within the range is slowed down by quite a bit for 20 seconds. You need quite a bit of bones to repair the speed.
    Yes these are powerful as hell but it won't really do much to full irons/diamonds. The 60% - 80% damage reduction from full iron - diamond will reduce most of that damage. However, anyone in leather will get completely screwed. Due to how much damage this does, it can certainly make your armor destroyed if enough explosions are struck.

    Before you get all pissy and raise the salt shakers because "oh this does too much damage... I'm going to use this but don't want to die by this", read the damn thread first :L

    This would just be one of those "so rare it doesn't actually affect the gameplay in any positive or negative way."

    I like the concept, however it may need some tweaking, especially with the slowness. Can't think of a better solution so I'll leave it at that. Although I do think it will further promote camping as if it isn't already a problem now (by that I mean unfair advantages of the camper and such), meaning that there will be something needed to be added or perhaps added to the C4 to be better suited for defense as well as offense.

    Hmm, good point. Fixed slightly.
    Well, C4 can be used for offense as it has quite a large range (10 blocks), C4 do stack damage, so say you stack 4, 2 of them hit for 120, other two will hit for 100, that can kill a full diamond camping or anybody really. If people are camping in very cramped areas or next to walls, it'll deal a good 175-150 range of damage if they're that close. 10 blocks of range is quite large if you think about it, most of the people who camp in small areas really have to think more. Buuut, that would mean there should be more openings to more areas... Gah, seems like this idea isn't well due to the nature of camping. Oh wells.

    I think the 10 blocks is a little extreme, especially for its damage output. This would be crazy OP if someone were camping snow for instance and you had C4, just place all over the ground where they're standing, and Boom. I think it should have a damage nerf and range nerf. It could still be effective for distractions or dealing a little damage before you rush. Good idea overall, this would be cool implemented.

    I believe if anything this weapon would be implemented for Events and such I believe this type of weapon, an explosive would just be top op and a bad idea to add to the game.

    Gonna be like infected in war with c4 all over again... k

    btw if your camping above a player, the player can place the lever right below the block where your standing and you can be full d and still rip..

    I think it could be something interesting however i think that it should have these improvements
    • Explosion radius should be limited to 4 blocks out
      • 10 blocks is extremely overpowered
    • Explosion should not go through walls, floors, and ceilings
      • So campers can't be killed from the outside
      • Also campers can't kill those outside from the inside
    • Damage from explosions should have a maximum of 100
      • Because C4 can be stacked together
    • Damage from explosions should also decrease every block by 25
      • Origin/1st block do 100
      • 2nd block out does 75
      • 3rd block 50
      • 4th block 25
    Also how would you control detonation?
    Can other players detonate your C4?
    Are teammates immune to the Damage?

    Well, this is the easy part. You can copy the code from mc-war for c4 ( which is a re-skinned shear for a detonator and whenever you right click the detonator your c4 blows up) The only problem with this is that we have to find a substitute for shears.
