Idea Enchanents at airdrop.

This isn't like hunger games, this should be treated as a supply drop where supplies you can find around the map spawn in the chest that is dropped.

 

He's not saying you do. He's saying that the airdrops are supposed to be supplies.

 

because a sword is so overpowered as it would help you in pvp? only time i could think of a situation where that *MIGHT* work is if you and a friend are camping in a house in snow and your friend shoots the enemy into barb and you just try to shank his azz. And that would be the ONLY use, because swords do 2x as much damage to zombies now, so a regular dsword should one shot a zombie.

 

Yeah cuz it's completely logical for you to Forrest Gump my ass from echest to construction without me getting a shot off on you.

 

I don't believe this would be a very swell idea. Not hackusating but some players like to kill aura with diamond swords. Now with a sharpness sword, they would be able to possible 4 hit a full d if he doesn't have time to eat. The drop is already fairly over powered because of it's chances of getting mostly diamond.

Swords have literally no helpful use in the game unless A. your using it to killaura someone or B. your using it for zombies. nobody uses swords in pvp unless your a whitename fighting in sand or gas

 

I dont think thats a good idea because many MANY Speed / Blink or FF hackers are playing right now...

 

The point of WarZ is to be realistic. Somethings in WarZ can't be realistic like tpaing or enderchests but those are donor perks, enchanted swords in the middle of a real apocalypse would never be a thing. Not to burst your bubble, but enchanted swords would just not work for WarZ. Also as @XceptibleDefeat mentioned, people like to Force field with swords to begin with, this would just make then even stronger.

 

Swords aren't really used for pvp, more like a way to kill zombies when short on ammo. I don't think theres a point really in having enchanted swords because it will only bring more problems with people that hack.

 

Yeah I agree, generally zone 5's and 6's ammo is plentiful (if you actually loot) making diamond swords basically useless considering carrying a pistol is more efficient for killing zombies than carrying a sword.

 

Yes I get that, but for a sword to be equally as powerful as a gun would require it to have very high enchantments, which in turn would let hackers very easily kill legitimate players.

 

Yea but both are fairly easy to detect or see when they are being used but they try in all was to reduce or even stop hackers, this would making hacks go hard and it wouldn't have a great outcome.

 

No one really uses swords anymore unless its for like zombies.
