    Just because someone has been here forever doesn't qualify them for it. I've been here longer but there are plenty of people more deserving and qualified than me.

    What I meant by that is that he's been with us for a while and he's helped out quiet a bit. Yeah, what you said it true, but that was missing my point.

    We.. have 4 SMODs? And one of them is currently inactive? I'm not saying we necessarily need more SMODs, but I don't think "we don't need any more" is a good reason not to promote someone who deserves it.

    Remember that they all have their own duties; bans forums, staff etc and seeing as we have one active Smod for all these roles unless one of them requires 1 or more people to do efficiently then we don't need another Smod. If there is a new job that someone would need Smod powers to do then I say go for it and promote someone.
