Idea Guys your "spvp" kit server has issues

    There is some bug that makes the /kit command into vote and you actually need to vote!! I thought this was kit server becouse people get 2 stacks of iron per day for free with /kit(/vote) so the shop is so cheap you can get iron blocks in seconds of mining gold!! So, suggestions to make the server better:
    1. Make iron kit into iron armor kit(who needs raw iron in kit pvp server??)
    2.Remove shop, it encourages people to build bases and distracts them from pvp
    3.have no cooldown on kit command, or just spawn people with one.
    4. Remove wilderness this ISNT FACTIONS server, wall off spawn so pvp gets better.
    5. Also, why you have kitpvp server AND spvp kit server? Theyr same right?

    Thats all, leave contstruckt criticizm

    1. Raw iron is easier to store.
    2. Cheap iron is in the shop because spvp hasn't had a reset for a while.
    3. People should work for stuff, not just get it for free every second.
    4. The whole point is to make a hidden base in the wild to store your stuff.
    5. Kitpvp is where you practice your PVP and spvp is where you survive like you would in regular Minecraft but with PVP enabled.

    You are clearly making suggestions so your thread was moved to server ideas.

    I'm not sure if you are serious about those suggestions, but I will just reply to them one by one.
    It is arguable if the voting rewards are appropriate, but they should be kept as they give players a reason to vote for the server and thus make it more popular.

    This is a SURVIVAL PvP server, means it does not only focus on PvP but also surviving in the minecraft environment. You can use iron ingots for whatever you want, for example tools instead of armor. And again, this is not a KitPvP server.

    Building bases and raiding them is one of the most important parts of this server.

    There is no kit command and none will be implented.

    There is no "wilderness", so I don't know what you are suggesting here. However, the server concept is actually quite close to a factions server.

    No, they are not. KitPvP is purely fighting against other players, while Survival PvP is also about gathering ressources and building bases.

    In addition to what Roke said, the shop isn't like a personal vault. You need to buy your items back, and you have to pay 15% tax on the items. Most people still store the majority of their loot in bases, and only use the shop to sell items. Removing the shop would be removing a huge aspect of Survival, and would make the server a lot more boring.

    You mean, a reward that indirectly gives you good pvp gear and removes survival is ok?


    Why would you do that? You already have everything you need when you mine 1gold and buy ultra cheap(again, becouse of kits) items. Unless the "important part" is about getting p4, wich is also easy.

    I am saying that the pvp part-the ONLY good part of server is just a pvp area. Yeah its vanilla, but there are more and better ways for that.
    Gathering recources-/reward, dig straight down, find gold- GG you completed the task. Building a base? Oh yeah, to get food. Something.


    Sorry for rage thread, but I couldnt just understand how can brawl can just kill spvp with rewards and not see that for months. 2 stacks of iron turn down motivation for players to mine-survive. When iron becomes cheap, everything else too becouse its Iron, the good thing? Now that survival is almost gone, only pvp remains (that happens in same place, there are no battle arenas or anythin fancier like that- run out, die or get killed, stand around 5 more hours). But, there is "survival" so you will loose your "good" Iron that makes player not want fo pvp. Also, diamonds and ench. Books Makes them think "I can just vote, no need to risk" AND then there is no pvp part of server, players only log into to vote and leave the server..

    In 1.9 they are nerfing enchantments so the books won't be that op once the reset comes out.

    You don't, but solo players tend to not build long-term bases for some reason
    If you saw our bases, you'd quickly change your mind about SPvP not revolving around survival

    I used to think the voting process hindered the survivability of the game as well, however I now know how truly useless iron is in the scheme of things. Contrary to popular belief, gold isn't the true source of economy. Food, diamonds, potions; these are all very important for people that play this gamemode daily. It's safe to say these people know how to survive, and they're now in it to raid and pvp. They need the soup and p4 and potions and enchanted sword. These people make up the strong, well-off teams like hype, Vanta, loud, etc. It isn't a kitpvp server, but I don't think the server is dead by any means. And I don't think the voting process affects the gameplay negatively. Most people don't take the time to vote anyway.





    Also, I'm a solo player and I do fine on my own, thank you very much. XD

    I hope you also know that another main part of Survival PvP is raiding... Once you get into tracking, you will realize how to really flourish on the server. Voting is somewhat op, yes, but tracking is far more rewarding. I think you need to do a bit more research before you can rant like this. Survival has a lot more to it than voting and pvping. Just explore it and see what more you can do. Perhaps you will have more fun then :U
