Something tells me there's a lot more words with four letters that are a lot worse. Honestly, Brawl needs to stop catering to the 6 year olds who can't handle being called a noob and need to start accepting the fact that if someone is young enough to be offended by someone calling hacks they're probably young enough to not be playing minecraft

Right about mineplex, dont you think we already have? As i said above: (and yes the edit was done before your post)
And yeah rules are outdated... Really outdated... thats why i pointed it out, becuase i think something should have been done :/

Well some people are abusing the power of words and can offend even older people. Lets not go with age here because maturity plays a big part too.

In other words, i think chat filters should continue existing but they should be improved. Saying the word "sex" is not an offense, its all over the media, magazines, and as i said even on my formal identification on this world, it says "sex" not "gender" so i think we shouldnt over-exagurate with the filter. If you try to say "I have been in Essex" it will be imidiately sensored and people will think you said something very rude/abusive/disgusting ect. I think this is dumb.

Also, about what you said, it weird that you can swear, advertise and generally do whatever through an msg! That is really conventional for ragers! they go unnoticed while attacking a specific player. Thats another improvment.

In all, i insist @bwfcwalshy provided a very nice and easy to implement idea that will minimise the hassle generated by hack accusations.

You missed the whole point of what I'm saying. Words are powerful, yes, and can offend people. But "hacks" is not a word that is even offensive in the slightest. If you get offended by "noob," deal with it. That's such a tiny thing to lose your **** over.

He isn't saying that hacks should be censored. He is saying that words like hacks and sex shouldn't be censored as they are not offensive and sex is natural. He is just using sex as an example. He also suggested that my idea above would be best which doesn't censor but simply tells the user to report them.

@bwfcwalshy ninja'ed me on this one, but yeah thats what i said.
I know i did, the point was to read the entire sentence:
So let me clear out that i objected to the "6 year old" you mentioned because age isnt the only thing to play a role. I just said that different people persive a sentence differently not just based on their age but also based on their maturity.
Can we go back on the main topic now?

Going back to the little snippet he provided, i think @Signatured will agree that this could help, given his experience on programming and involvement in brawl development.

I did notice the edit, but "ddos" is censored because people might say "KILL ME AGAIN AND ILL DDOS YOU SO HARD YOUR ROUTER EXPLODES" and ddos threats are normally a bannable offense, but hackusating is only mutable (Or I think so at least)

So since you have been playing for quite a while, what was the most frequent occurance that sparked arguments, someone DDoS threatening or someone hack accusing? I think it was hack accusiations. Havent seen anyone DDoS threatening anyone for ages.
Also technically DoS should also be sensored because it means "Denial of Service" which is the correct term for when a single computer attacks another computer on a network rather than a group of computers attacking.

A: those are two different sentences.
B: Those are two totally separate ideas
C: I was talking about the first idea
D: I know that age isn't it, but by that sentence (proper usage) I mean't "maturity of ____." It's a figure of speech.

Dos is "two" in Spanish (at least according to my ****ty spelling)

Very late edit: the reason there's hardly any more ddos threats here is because it's censored and everyone will be ultimately confused if they read "I WILL **** YOU" in chat.

    A. Sorry, thought that being in the same line would make it aparent that they are related but obviously it was a bad asumption. The reason i used the dot was to make it sound better when reading it.
    B. Not sure i understood what you mean. But i think i explained what i ment in the followup posts.
    C. ^
    D. I didnt know that, mainly because i am not from an english speaking country.
Anyway. If you want, we can continue this discussion via PM's. Lets go back to the topic now.
Well, each time someone nukes there is a high posibility that some player(s) will hack accuse. I dont think that the one being accused wants to talk with all each time that happends, especially players like @MartGames who nuke every game... They can report instead as it was mentioned before, and the staff will take care of it.
