Problems with WildWest (not bugs)

Theres also the fact that they told you to report issues so they can fix it while its still in beta as well, add that. Although I havent played WildWest yet, sounds like you do have a point here.

 

I guess it's the first to the top just exponentially gets better and everyone else is left in the dust. It's basically a race to get to a point where you have actual power and you're not running from the towns to the mines all the time. Once you're at a point where you don;t have to do that, you're practically better than everyone else. It's hard for a new person, but hey, that's what the beta is for!

 

- I can agree a little bit on this, teams are pretty OP as of now, but I can say that it's not very likely to have a full team travel around everywhere, and be at the server. The likelihood is kind of low considering the map is simply so huge, it's kind of hard to target one person and hunt him down on a full-scale Wild West map. I completely agree Diamond is OP and the guns are not very good. Considering I was leather with a T-Gewr and I got one-shot which was really sad to me.

- I'm pretty sure coders are trying to do something about this, but I do agree it takes A LONG time to do this, especially when processing drugs where you can get killed at anytime.

- Right now in Beta there isn't like everyone camping every single mine, but I can see after beta more people will come, and some mines/drugs fields/cartels/rebel bases will be heavily camped and there won't be a possibility to go there without a team.

- Not unless you combo, which isn't even a feature that's supposed to be in Wild West. But I doubt they will make comboing stay forever. But yeaa.

- Wild West is more of an aggressive game, but that's no excuse for not letting new people develop and actually get to play. I could agree on this, but as of right now I don't really see how you can do this. Yes, I shall say the cursed word, I think AFTER BETA it shall be noob friendly with more features and more ways to get from rag-to-riches.

- I agree it's really hardcore, even if you store money in your bank, to get a T-Gewehr don't you have to go to Rebel Camps?

- Pretty much, and it's a pretty long and painful process of collecting drugs/ores then processing then selling (especially hard to find drug dealers besides the one behind the conductor in Ellsworth).

Other than that I will talk about stuff, and YES it it shall contain the cursed word AFTER BETA. I know you didn't make this thread to rant how bad Wild West is (although you kind of did to fix it, but it feels good lel), and you tried to fix it. But things like prices, armor, damages, those are things that can be easily changed considering it's Beta. I previously talked about people who had normal ranks and saying it's unfair that they couldn't play. Well, the donators have to get through all the bugs & glitches, and while doing so they can report them to get it fixed by coders. Wild West is pretty new, meaning there's going to be problems.

About the major changes, yus.... AFTER BETA THEY SHALL BE FIXED OR AT LEAST SOMETHING ELSE SHOULD COME INTO PLAY TO MAKE IT BETTER. As long as we keep on making good ideas.

 

Also, the mines and drug fields are all so far away. You have to travel on foot, collect stuff, go back to a town. You'll probably lose a lot of hunger by then, and you will most likely get killed :c

 

This is an aspect of the server that I enjoy. Your stuff isn't just handed to you on a silver platter. You actually have to travel really far to get good stuff

About killing full diamonds: that's not all too difficult. You just need to be well equipped. Use the element of surprise.

About illegal guns being better than legal: they're a bit better. That's why they're illegal. I killed a WarZ guy the other day that was full diamond and had all illegal guns while I only had the legal rifle. It's possible!

 

Did you combo? If so that's not a feature of the real Wild West :V.

The price of the diamond armor could be raised. It's currently at 110k gold, which still took me a while to get.
Everyone goes through the same process starting out. I do agree with you about the processing. It takes foreverrrr...

And most importantly, you should process with a team that's always on guard. Going solo is a big mistake, especially if you aren't checking around for players.

 

Once again, add a quest system. Removes the farming nature whilst keeping the PvP and lore

 

The biggest problem is if you don't have a rank it's what $10 just to play?

I'm a huge solo player so I get the feeling people like me, and newcomers who don't know anyone to make a team with, will really struggle. *cough* @Risen_God and his team killed me when I had nothing *cough*

 

No, it's not handed to you in a silver platter, but this gets really un-noob friendly. Once beta is over, I'm sure plenty of people will join, when all of us had a headstart already. People who are real strong will kill all newcomers, and they will have no chance of survival. The bad thing about ww is that it isn't noob-friendly, just like how war is. Imo, ww is war with a different theme.

 

Stats will be reset once the BETA is over.
