Infect for it's own server.

Just remove the donor items from infect. Problem solved.

Can we please? The number of "high skill level" players on the leaderboards right now that got there by farming infect is just frustrating. Infect used to be fairly balanced after the heavy law nerf and before the introduction of the raygun. What we really need here is a nerf to the Ray. Make it shoot like a sniper rifle should, with less clip and longer reload. That would help a whole lot in balancing that gamemode

 

I actually did that. I played 5 games of infect with Iso and won 3/5.

 

most of whom abused donator/high level weapons before most anyone else had them/knew how to use them. One of the reasons why I look forward to war 2.0 (#soon). the stat reset will show us who's actually good now instead of having a bunch of players trying to fill the old god's boots.

Everyone has weapons and techniques, even back in the old days.

 

Maybe they could rework it so that you started with a pistol and every time you got a kill you got money. If you press'e' it would open up a shop in your inventory and you could buy weapons. All donor items would be donor only and super expensive.

 

Stop playing infect then? Some people like how the Infect on Mc-War goes. It's maybe a bit overpowered, but around
80% (maybe 65%) of the people actually play it without any concerns. Infect has been here since the beginning and I'm not wanting to see it apart from the other War gamemodes.

And you also state that you get a bad KDR. Stop suiciding then? NOT saying that you keep on suiciding constantly, but this is mostly what MOST of the people do. (Talking about the known players that play this from the beginning) And if you die once, stay in the Zombie spawn and try to avoid the people that are still alive and keep the chat a bit active. That's what I would do if I still played.

 

I see you're very passionate about your idea, but infect is one of my favorite parts of War. I can also enjoy it without using ray or mini or something like that. To improve your KDR and to not get mad over infect, just don't play the games. You can just take a little time off from infect and just relax. It's always nice to take a little break in between games besides the normal 60 seconds .

Infect is really enjoyable for many people, and even though they use ray, it's not a big deal. They paid real-life money for the gun and they have the right to use it. Many people don't mind being a zombie and for the people that do, they just do /spawn. They have their fun time being alive and just relax at spawn when they die. Almost everyone likes infect, rather it them being alive (probably 98% of people) or them being a zombie.

The other reason I have for it to stay is to save the dev's from having to work 24/7. They already have to work on War 2.0 and other smaller projects. It would take a while to make a whole new server, almost from scratch.

I'm sorry, but I vote -1 and I think infect should stay.

As much jealousy and hate I have towards the ray-gunners who ruin infect and make me hate it. Infect is still very enjoyable with weapons such as the law (even though its bullsh*t now), etc.

There are smaller servers others than #1 etc. that have more balanced infect games. I defenetly don't want this, but it would be a better solution to lower infect player limit to like 25 or something.
