Buddy, the point of the game is to loot steal

 

No matter how you think about it, there's almost no way to be fair on Survival PvP. You could PvP faaar away, but you have 150 less durability than the opponent. You would really have to have the same gear and everything, plus have to be on a totally symmetrical battlefield. I personally 1v1d many people, and I could simply just go 25 blocks out of spawn where no one was looking. Or just take off my armor to not catch attention, then quickly put it back on when I'm out of spawn.

If you want completely fair 1v1s, like you said, just go to KitBrawl. It's the same concept, although it's another story if you want diamond 1v1s etc. But for now, KitBrawl is the best solution to a fair 1v1.

 

Loot stealing is the freaking POINT of the game.

No, de point is to raid and play survival. With this system it could also remove these 3v1 or these n00bs that go around and punching you back and right trying to kill you.

Dude, I can PVP. Just this week I showed up at a raid with my Power V Unbr 3 Punch 2 Fire Asp Inf bow and shot the crap out of a guy in his base every time he warped in.

Am I doing it right?

 

From my perspective, what's the point of 1v1ing with your gear? Like one person has diamond armor and another has Prot IV. It wasn't fair to start out with, then why waste time trying to avoid lootscoopers? A much better solution is to fix the problem of unfair 1v1s while stopping loot scoopers, which sounds exactly like a common KitPvP 1v1. What this thread is suggesting would just easily be a KitPvP add-on, 1v1s, arenas, etc. Those are not needed in Survival PvP, which is basically a vanilla experience of looting and raiding, there's no real equality in it.

 

I have lost Prot IV to loot stealers, and honestly, I don't care. The game is Survival PvP, it's the point of the server. You got to be ready for jerks, trust no one. Also if someone says 1v1? be prepared to be 5v1ed (Happens all the time)
