So as you know, I used to be the biggest tryhard at war, (now I'm not)
So, I decided for all the people that hates tryhards and for people that want to become mod, Read this, (or if your trying to be one)

Step 1 on how to become mod, Usually starters don't really say much they only say mature stuff, and tell people not to break rules as many of you have heard like "chill" "report.brawl.com" and watch your language and stuff like that, That is a good starting point on how to become mod.

Step 2. How to not have people hate you
Well, Every person going for mod is going to have some hate, But you have to learn to ignore it and not fight back with them or argue, But if you don't really want hate, I suggest you have fun with people, Like be a funny mature person so people will lauph at you, But don't be a comedy ****er, Just act mature most of the time, But if you see the need to tell a joke at somebody just do it, But don't do it in an immature way, People do not like that at all!

Step 3. What to do and what not to do
A lot of people may know this, But some people may not, if somebody calles somebody a "noob" simply say "Please be respectful" or if somebody startes flaming at somebody or cussing them out, "Relax" Relax is a good word term and a very mature ish way to tell somebody not to yell or start screaming. (Mods often use this word) Alright so, As you know people try to bypass the chat filter , For people who do not know what that means, Thats saying something the same as a cuss word or just putting an abrevation or something like that, Like "sh1t" or "fuq" or something a lot of people say is "a$$" It may not seem like people do this but, Trust me people do it,

step 4, What if people don't listen to you
Well, lets start it this way, Say they were being very disrespectful to somebody. And you tell them not to and you say it nicely, And then 10 seconds later they do it agian, Most mods would give them the last warning by saying "This is your last warning, Please do not do it agian" and if they do not stop, Check to see if any mods are on, Screenshot it or simply /report (name) Being very disrespectful, Asked nicely to be nice numerous times.

Step 5, How to know when your ready.
When you think your ready of course! But don't go around asking people if your ready or not, You want to keep low and after like 3-5 months of doing this then apply, But if you were very bad in the past be mature for like 6-10 months to show people that you think you are ready

Step 6, This is the biggest one
NEVER GIVE UP! (like I did, Even tho I was pretty close to getting mod) But yes, Never give up for mod, it was the worst decision I ever made, if you get tons of hate, IGNORE it, And keep moving on, Never let people get in your way of you getting mod, Just never give up no matter what.

I'm not sure if this is a very good guide, but one thread that has good advice is this. If you are wanting to become mod, be helpful without being a 'mini mod.' Now don't get me wrong, if there's a flame war in chat saying "chill man" is fine, but one thing that shows your ability to solve problems is using /report. All staff gets these reports, and in my opinion it shows staff that you are able to handle issues without getting too involved. There is no need to say,
"(random name), please don't curse" everytime you see stars in the chat. If it gets too out of hand /report and /chatreport are your friend.
Yes, some people are going to hate, but you need to be able to tell the difference between hate and advice. I know this is hard to understand, but some people just don't want others to get mod some people are rude and sometimes flat out disrespectful. But if someone is trying to give you advice, take it a lot of the time you'll find that they're trying to help. You should take their advice, and see if it works for you.

Wouldn't people be more obliged to take advice from someone who actually became a staff member?

I can pin-point uses here, they'll be short to the point with some notes below them.

How to be a Staff member? Depending on how you view the situation of achieving this, it can go either way.

Be yourself, but don't be a jerk. Use common sense and try not to be rude (however, this can vary from rants).
In other news, stop trying to put people down in some way, calling them names and such.
    Abusing exploits/glitches to your advantage.
Don't, just don't do these... It'll greatly lower your chances (this might not apply so much in Beta or if you were told by Staff members to test said issues).
    Helping & "try harding"
Bleh... The use of those two words irritates me. In the sense, try to help out the Staff through the /report command, it does wonders, like Nezzr already said above, "chill" would be a nice way to try to stop them.
Now for helping on the forums, please for the love of god, you don't need 300+ posts, you can have maybe around like 80 and still can get mod. It all depends on how well you execute your posts into quality over quantity.
Using the same damn sentences for a lot of posts.
Com'n, try not to use generic sentences, creativity!

Your post was rather lacking in some very important points, Turkey. I assume by your recent posts that you fall under the "lack of common sense" in-order to be funny or "comeback".

    Well it's true.
Every single mod on McBrawl has some sort of characteristic that makes them unique.
Just a few examples from ex-mods on this page:

MrCowlick - Straight forward guy who was pretty nice, active in community
Pikmin - Nicest guy you'll ever meet and super helpful, map maker
Derk - Some fgt on the forums that got mean ratings removed, map maker

You should practice what you preach. If you're gonna talk about being mature and how it's a key so success you might want to be mature. Otherwise people are gonna take your opinion with a grain of salt.

    There's a reason you were never promoted c; */shrug* ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I like how a member that got denied MULTIPLE times thinks anyone will listen to him.

I believe you gave up because you got denied 8 times, just on staff applications. Another 11 denied for creative ranks.

Yea, let's listen to this guy.

btw, you weren't close, on your last staff application you got 14 -1s, 0 +0, and 0 +1.
