The End in 1.9

    I had some time to think about the new 'The End' in 1.9, and I recommend that it should continue to be reset, for the following reasons...

    First, The End now has a lot of structure beyond the End Dragon. I tooled around and found end cities, chorus fruit, etc. and realized that if The End doesn't reset, there are going to be an awful lot of untraceable bases there.

    Second, The End is the only resource for Elytra. If it doesn't get reset, and has a border, it'll limit the number of Elytra pretty severely (like maybe 10-20 Max). And over time, some will get permavaulted, or destroyed or whatever.

    And finally, shulkers. I don't know if they naturally respawn, but they aren't breedable. I have a use for them, and if you know how they work you'll understand what I want to use a bunch for.

    Anyway, I know that decision may not have been made yet, but I hope The End resets like before...

    I've always wanted to have a base/vault/whatever in the middle of the end.
    I remember playing factions and having a end base at like 40k 12k in the end.

    I think that the end shouldn't reset as often or not at all... but I don't really know the new stuff coming in 1.9

    But end bases in Survival PvP would ruin so much. Imagine having to check 3 different dimensions for a raid. I personally really like the end resets. It adds competition whenever the server restarts to kill the dragon. Although, I do think that the dragon can be respawned normally.

    I can't stand the end and how op enchanting is if you kill the dragon... You get almost 70lvls when you kill the dragon. That's 14 level 30 enchants, honestly it's not a very good system considering it happens about every 2 days. :c

    I like the resetting because, honestly, it's hard enough finding bases in the nether. I don't want to have to traverse 3 different places. And even though the ender dragon gets slaid alot, imagine if the end didn't get reset. There would be chaos. Besides, I've read the elytras don't respawn. Slaying the ender dragon is a part of spvp. I say we keep it and give it a chance.

    True dat. Also, there needs to be borders in the end now that don't currently exist (imagine going out to 20k,30k in The End and plopping down a base. GG) If the borders are too tight and the end doesn't reset, you only have a handful of Elytra per map that will be found in the first day or two.

    I'll bring it up with the devs. I see your point. However, I have one question first, doesn't the end already reset? And if it does, why is a border needed?

    I can set a warp in the middle of nowhere and brew tons of pots and/or have a 'disposable' base. I personally can build an autobrewer in 30 minutes and camp for a few days and not be tracked. It doesn't make sense to do that now with the single island in The End but will make sense in 1.9.

    What I mean is, if The End already resets, it doesn't seem like it will be a problem. I do agree that The End does need to reset though.
