Bring back the players!

So now let's apply that logic here.

There is not a huge influx of players playing, mostly because nothing has changed, nothing will change for an indefinite time period, and nothing will happen that will keep the players who want more (other than their need to have a certain kdr for pride and self-esteem and whatever).

You want that dopamine.
You want that kill.
You want that nuke.
You want to feel that sense of accomplishment, that you accomplished something, but in reality, you accomplished something that takes little palpable effort in life; in turn, the effort is basically negated because effort in a video game where the result means nothing in life is basically nothing if you use the transitive property of quality and divide 2 by infinity, thus getting the quotient, which you add to the polar equation, and then converting its way of thinking into rectangular form like being a born-again christian or something. basically it feels contrived

You want the word spread, Mc-War is a server, it's fun, go play it, go be an oblivious noob who doesn't know how to play, go be a little baby duckling like it's separated from its mother, go be some numbers on a screen that mean something, go be something that I shoot at, go be a player in an intangible battleground where the rules of modern warfare don't apply, go be another player that I won't think about when I crush your skull and smash your bones to ground dust, give me those kills, give me those stats, give me some entertainment.


Also, people have school, and people have lives
Some people stay.
Some move on.

Also, if the 'other servers' you're addressing isn't within the Brawl network, you're basically advocating advertising.

As for the maps that were purportedly deleted, you could just converse with a staff member or something.

I think the real issue is the number of people playing the game going down.

Anyway, war needs an update and overall more&better advertising. Only if we get this it will be possible to get new players on.

 

It is still in the game. The OLD DDay was removed.

 

I think what had brought a ton of payers to war in the first place when I joined was because there were a few youtubers that would make videos and therefore promote the server. I remember watching war videos from Ssundee and Jerome and Dwarfiest. I believe there are more that I am not naming but having those guys playing the server helped a ton with the popularity and players on Brawl and War. Now there are no youtubers on and the advertisement for the server is quite small. Make war big again!!

 

I think the real problem here, is that War is a bit boring now to be honest. There are so many high level players that for new players/low level ones the game is not as fun as It was 6 months to a year ago. I think that Brawl needs to get War 2.0 up and running asap or Brawl needs to add a twist to war (different game modes, new maps, bring back old maps) to make it more fun and to bring players back to the game. Also, maybe Brawl should lower the number of War servers for the mean time in order to get more players on an individual server.

At this point, we have so many players playing so well that it's sort of become the class system represented in game. You've got an ever stronger elite upper class that holds all of the kills close to their chest, the middle class scrambling to get the people the elite miss, and the lower class that simply exist to die. This is getting farther and farther away with the cannon fodder dying so much that the only thing they learn to do is dodge rather than get kills, and the upper class that keep getting better and better consistently. So yes, what we need is a stat reset and overhaul of the game. Fortunately for us, mc-war 2.0 is going to get wrapped up sorely after wildwest, so there shouldn't be too much more waiting

Most of you play it, which means that you are a high level. Maybe that keeps you blind about what do players want to stay.

First, when you are just new sucks, sucks! To fight against someone a higher level because their guns. Have you ever played any call of duty? There ain't better guns. Each gun is designed for a special job, none is better or worse.

Second, gun game in War... I think there is no need to explain why it sucks.

Money?! Seriously? Have you played Black Ops 1? You have money there, but I really never had any issues with it. Money was okay on BO1, prices and gainances are pretty good.

Also leveling. Leveling it's pretty hard, which makes the game more interesting. But then it loses that particularity when you can earn levels by voting.

At least McWar doesn't have those annoying exos bothering.

I agree whith you, but a new thought come up to my mind as I read this. What if not a random guy ask a big youtuber, but for example chickenputty or chap himself?
He could introduce himself as the owner of a minecraft server, says some facts (e.g. 3,000,000 people overall...) and ask him for a short visit on brawl/war.

If a large Youtuber like CaptainSparklez actually comes on and plays the server, there will be a huge influx of new players. Huge. It would be such a nice form of promotion for Brawl. I also agree with Skullcrusher. The Youtuber has a higher chance to play on the server because it's from a professional standpoint and not just some random person in the comment section talking about it. I feel it would just be a snowball effect too. Once more players join, more players vote for the server (most likely) and more players refer the server to others (again, most likely).
