1.7 or 1.9

Why is 1.8 not an option
1.7 would be bad because there are a lot of important 1.8 blocks that are used a ton in maps. There are also a huge amount of 1.8 features that are used in the code. 1.9 has some new features but it's mainly unfortunate combat changes.

 

I prefer 1.7 because when you shoot your gun doesnt spas out. and alot of other glitches arent present in 1.7.

1.9 for sure. Best update ever in my opinion. The server needs something new, and 1.9 brings that.

 

There's far more to the updates, and the server for that matter, than pvping. I love all aspects of the server for building, and the things you would do normally in a single player world. Pvping isn't really that important to me when looking at all of version.

 

1.7 I need block hitting back. I'd give up Guardian fish things for 1.7 pvp any day.

 

@0racle Well the server ip is "pvp.brawl.com" this update will make the server lose his essence, I'm just talking about survial pvp not the whole server.

 

1.8/1.7 I really don't like the whole new combat system in 1.9, in my opinion its the worst update.

 

1.8 is just a broken version of 1.7 with some fish that shoot beams at you and underwater temples... 1.9, Jesus that would be boring. The only good thing is Elytra everything else makes PvP boring. You literally take half a heart of damage in full d against an iron sword with your shield up... Fights will consist of jumping behind one another and soup fights... My lord you could be there for a solid hour if you use 2 inventories.

Here is a little skit to show you how I feel.

1.8: Here have a snickers.
1.9: Why?
1.8 Because you're not you when you're hungry.

1.9: *eats snickers*

1.8: Better?
1.7: Better.

 

1.8 is the bomb. 1.9 isn't very good for pvp

I was a noob literally for the first two years of my Minecraft life so I never pvped in 1.7. XD 1.9 makes me very angry. I was in a realm with my friends and I was mining when the update came out. Literally died in the first 30 seconds from 2 zombies... I was in full prot 4 iron!!!!
So yea. 1.8

 

If 1.9 is to be added the cooldown needs to be removed. If 1.7 is to be added the x-ray glitches needs to be fixed.

 

I'm almost positive it will not go back to 1.7 I mean you can try to get it to go back but personally don't think so
