Bounty Decrease Ideas

Well, I mean I know there should be ways to decrease bounty, but I really doubt people will want criminals to clean up their house xD. I think the way to decrease bounty should simply be staying away from Sheriffs, and it should decrease over time if you don't attract attention and do bad things.

I honestly think the bounty system is way too nice. I (before I was sheriff xD) used to hurt/kill players then go to jail when I died. I could simply mine ores and just get out in what? A minute? Many players enjoy the sensation of breaking out of prison and communicating with other players. Wild West is an open-world. Mostly you see people crowding in one spot, or you don't see players at all. Prisons are rather enclosed areas, easy to actually communicate with players and strike up deals. But you don't see that because prison is extremely easy to get out of.

There's basically, forgot what it's called, but around the name of "Social Service", when you have a chance to do good stuff and help around the community to get out of jail. This should be allowed for only qualified players. For example, donators, having lower bounty (so people don't freak out with a number one criminal cleaning your town xD), and much more. You have a chance to do social service instead of just mining for ores.

With that being said, if this were to be added, then I would expect many other additions to be added when in prison. Basically people get really pissed when they go to jail, and are the point of raging. Loosing everything is basically WarZ all over again, and people are salty enough to rage over it (most cases of rage are that). If there's a way to get from rags to riches in prison, then many players will not mind if they die, and would greatly decrease the amount of rage-quiters. Considering many players enjoy fast-paced games.

 

That's actually fine, in many games that's the case, the only part is that there should be many different ways to get out. And things you can do that are actually entertaining (quests and such) in jail, it's basically like a custom mini-prison server haha. Mining should be the least efficient way to get out, many different pathways to get out should be added in the prison.
