I agree with mining. I mined once and realized it was a waste of time. I just went afk at the shrooms and made 20 grand... I mean, playing this game is easy as **** when you got friends with you. now getting stuck... I really haven't had that issue yet. Heres a tip, put items in your horses thing, send them to stables and then kill youself. or get a friend to take your stuff.

 

(1) How does it spam the chat? It only displays a bar above your hotbar.
(3) Jail is supposed to be a punishment you want to avoid, we are working on ways to make it more interesting but it should remain something less interesting than normal gameplay.
(4) Mining is of course less effective then doing drugs (illegal > legal), but I see how the prices might be too low. I will look into adjusting that.

 

I got my Bounty to around 20k and spent TWO HOURS mining it off. Thats not okay, I almost lost interest in the actual game. The fact that the game is really good helped me go through it.
Also with mining, you shouldn't be able to pvp in the mining camps themselves. If you can PvP in the camps then that adds the same amount of risk when mining than Processing drugs. It takes longer to mine, you are "Stuck" in the mine. While two people can just get at each exit and wait for you. it really needs to be changed

 

The difference between mining and drugs is
- Sheriffs won't arrest you for mining
- Sheriffs will frequently be at mines to protect peaceful players
- drugs are more efficient and therefore more players will be there

The amount of bounty you get probably needs to be adjusted (you can also pay it off though when ticketed).

 

There aren't a lot of sheriffs at the moment. Maybe add a Player hunting feature for them?
So that the bounties won't sky rocket upwards and it will sorta be maintained. Also can we stop the random arresting? Happened to Viva more than once I think.

 

We opened Sheriff applications, there should be more soon. What do you mean with random arresting?

 

Random arrests are against Sheriff protocol, basically going up to a random person and putting them in handcuffs.

I'm working on letting all sheriffs know this.

 

I asked because saying "It happened to Viva" made it sound like a bug. It is already clearly started on the Handbook that you can't just arrest random people, all Sheriffs should follow it. Can't hurt to tell them again though I assume.

 

Okay thank you. Also Add a bounty hunter for bandits. Right now the only way to really play is boring Vs. fun. Mining Vs. Illegal. Make Bounty Hunting a thing for people with 500 or less bounty or something. It would be crazy if people could track the top 3 online top bounty players

 

I agree it would be cool

 

It spams the Tip message every second or so. "Tip: Your bounty goes up as you process drugs blah blah blah you need to work your bounty off in jail blah blah." Same thing happens when your saturation bar is low.
