New Gun idea: Gauss Gun

    Hey guys and gals, I've devised a new gun for mc-war! As you may have read from the title, it's the Gauss gun. This is a non-COD item (as far as I know) and I realize that it therefore has limited chances of being accepted. So, I hear you ask, what is a Gauss gun? Basically, it's a gun that uses Electromagnets in the form of copper coils around the barrel, and these are successively switched on, propelling a steel or iron projectile forwards.

    The Gauss gun specifications are as follows, and please constructively criticize them below;
    Fire mode: Semi Auto
    Time between shots: 6 ticks (0.3sec)
    Reload time: 30 ticks (1.5sec)
    Damage: 10 damage (5 hearts)
    Unlock Level: 31+
    Unlock Cost: 28 Forum Points (100+ posts & 25+ Likes)
    Clip size: 32 rounds
    Accuracy: High
    Bullet speed: 2-4 times the velocity of a normal gun

    The concept of unlocking a via forum activity is a new one, and note please that people cannot spam posts to get the points, but must also get a minimum of 25 likes (I only recently achieved that) which will stop spammers from trying to get the gun by posting all over here... This gun would be available only to the more dedicated members of the MPS community, which is a rather different idea than with most guns.

    I like how included the texture along with the idea. It's a good idea in my opinion though.

    My name is pronounced with a "Yah", not a "Jey", as it's German, but some people call me "Jacob" andway, and I don't mind... :smile:

    It's probably not going to bring too many people over, as 100+ posts & 25+ likes has taken me two-two and a half months, and those who only come to the forums for the gun will then leave when they realise how long it takes...
    Yup, it's basically a retextured Deagle though, with a larger clip... I just realised that...

    This has been suggested once before in the form of a "gauss cannon", but with less detail. So this idea is valid! :grinning:
    I could fancy this proposal.
    Interesting spin on acquiring this weapon. Maybe in the future only certain weapons could be unlocked via forum challenges or something along those lines.

    Forum unlocking idea is a pretty unique one, I hope a forum bonus like this gets added. It would be a good alternate for non donors.

    Forum posts are a good idea, but many people don't like me for some reason or other even if I make a good legitimate point. And if they add this gun, you would automatically get it because you have the points. Make it an option, you can buy it for 2000 or so credits at level 50 OR it unlocks at any level with a determined amount of forum activity.
    That would be nice, If you get a certain amount of whatever, you unlock 1 donor gun of your choice. It would be nice to know that people could come on the forums and work toward their guns!
