The Soup Tribute Tournament - My input (2nd place)

    I played in the Soup Tribute Tournament.

    So I wasn't expecting much, the lag was quite unbearable, but as players slowly died off, things got better.

    My thoughts on:

    Map Attacks: This was amazing. It was excellent, the acid rain, mutant apes, thunderstorm, everything!
    It was excellent, and I really enjoyed playing with these scenarios running alongside the tournament.
    However, I cannot imagine being in the thunderstorm on the no-soup server, Rest In Pieces.

    Lag: It was insane the first 30 or so minutes, almost unplayable, but something you couldn't have expected.

    Combat: 1.8, ew ew ew. Was a good experience regardless!

    Something that really bothered me was the NoSoup. My close friend, @DevanMC , had 10+ kills, and had the game in the bag. However, when the pit spawned, the 2013 Quarter Quell repeated itself. He fell to his death along with basically everyone else.

    Halfway through the game, I met another solo player, Trueskills, and we teamed up. In the end, we won it all, with Trueskills jump-critting me :stuck_out_tongue:

    I wanted to thank the Brawl team for finally hosting a tournament with the most competitive gamemode of all time. I had a lot of fun, and lots of sweating, shaking moments, specifically in combat.

    I wanted to Congratulate Trueskills as well for the 1st place win.

    Thanks everyone for participating, it was a great experience!

    It went pretty decent for me as well (10 Kills :smile: ), but it's sort of weird that premium players were able to respawn. I killed you in the beginning but you could still continue playing :/

    Dukoda I'd like to speak on behalf of the nosoup! I don't know if you remember me but I have fought devan before, and he is a very good player. However, I found an ender portal and got 4 prot 3 books, which I made into prot 4 books for both my leggings and chestplate. That along with sharp one diamond sword? I would of destroyed that deathmatch

    It was very fun! To be honest I almost had a heart attack (not fat btw) and I had to take a break for a couple minutes xD thanks Dukoda for teaming with me for a portion of the game! Couldn't have won it without you!

    Mine was ****.
    The lag was ok, but I was running for the first 5 mins anyways so it was fine.
    But then: 3 HALF DIAMOND; FULL IRONS COME UP.
    THEY SHOW EACH OTHER TRUCE.
    AND ALL START CRITTING ME IN LAVA.
    AIN'T THE RULES GREAT.

    I'll be sure I am next tourney :wink:

    You didn't actually kill me, I believe respawning was disabled. You killed some random person I truced with in Invincibility, and I burrowed and got away from you :open_mouth:

    Devan would have destroyed it. Not to mention, you never know how it would've gone down, he had full prot 1 diamond and sharp 1 sword :wink:

    I wish I had been there to see it... I remember testing the events and they were amazing!!!! Sadly I had to work right when the tournament started. I hope it was fun guys! ^-^ I'll catch the next one though.

    Me and my teamate split 5 from the feast, my teamate lagged out during feast only thing I could grab was the pearls.
