    NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS​

    Hi Brawlers,

    We are looking for members who are interested in assisting us with our ever growing Brawl Wiki. The Wiki has grown to be too much for the staff to handle, as they are focused on other things such as server moderation. We would love to see what our community can do to help us.

    We are looking for members who are capable of writing well-written, professional articles and have a good sense of design. We want to make the wiki appealing and easy to understand. It is vital you have a good knowledge and understanding of the Brawl servers.

    If you are interested in joining the Wiki Team you will be required to do a number of jobs including:
    • Regularly updating the wiki to comply with server updates
    • Update outdated wiki information
    • Adding and designing new wiki pages
    • Writing content for new servers
    • Ensure all wiki articles contain correct information
    • Making sure all wiki pages have the same layout
    • Correct any grammar or spelling mistakes on the wiki
    Note: At times this role may be very time consuming so it is essential you have enough free time to be able to complete your job.

    Wiki Team members will be required to be in a Wiki Team Slack discussion and will be given a forum rank titled "Wiki Team" with a badge under your username. This does not give you any extra powers on the forums other than access to the wiki.

    Applications will be regularly reviewed and you will be notified if your application is accepted. We will not be notifying you if you are denied, it may take us up to a week to review your application so don’t rush us.

    Any information given in your application will not be released publicly.

    EDIT: All Wiki Team also have access to the Wiki Team+ channel in Teamspeak 3, but not the Build Team channel.

    Can you be in the wiki team and only work on one servers wiki, or do you have to do multiple servers?

    Most of the time you do what you are told to do, but you can work on what you want and it can be delegated to other members of the Wiki Team.

    This seemed pretty long overdue, so thank you Putty. I'm sure the staff will benefit from a slightly less strenuous workload. :V
    Qualified absolutely, but I just don't feel like I have enough time to. I'm too busy doing schoolwork. I need to be writing essays/research papers, not the wiki. :/ If I have nothing to do over the summer and this comes open again, then maybe. :v
    tbh, I'm actually have more time for mod atm than wiki team. :v If I got active on TS again, I could actually apply, lol. Somehow I've managed to find enough free time to be active on Brawl again, but I just don't have time to write long, professional wiki sections. :v

    I would highly suggest more length, but not at the cost of quality. I've always been quality over quantity, but that might not be the same for others.

    I'm not sure if we want to have a Star Wars Wiki :stuck_out_tongue:

    Could people be able to ask chickenputty or Lord_Roke if they application got denied? Or is it like you aren't accepted after a week of no reply?

    I believe after a week or two of you not being notified you were accepted, it can be assumed that you are denied. Although I cannot be sure for a fact.
